ABC Company and its employees would benefit if the computers were upgraded. Right now the computers are running Windows XP. This system is far too outdated to keep the systems up and running. The computers are the only means for the employees to get paid, so when the computer system shuts down the employees do not get paid. Microsoft no longer will be supporting Windows XP. Therefore, there will be no fixes for any of the computers. There are several computers that currently do not work. Those computers are unable to be utilized by any of the employees. More working computers means more money for the company. The downtime for the fix would only be about two weeks tops. This will give them time add any programs that are needed for the company and setting up the computers at each desk. The only part of the equipment that would need purchased is the CPU towers. By upgrading the computers, would mean that the employees would be in good spirits. They would no longer have to walk around looking for a computer to work at. The computers would be running so that all office space would be utilized. Purchasing new computers would mean that more can be done and the employees would be much happier with faster running computers.
