General Job title Duration Fees Type of Contract Duty Station Purpose of the function To contribute to the (further) development of and to assist in the implementation of the humanitarian program strategy and priority frameworks at country level; to ensure that Oxfam Novib (ONL) and its partners have the capacity to respond rapidly and proportionately to humanitarian emergencies, and in the event of an emergency, to work with partners to deliver (part of) ONs response. Main tasks of the function Support in the implementation of the ongoing projects. In case of any emergency situation, assist in the assessments and contribute to design and scale up of ONL/partner interventions; Assist the Program Officer, to appraise partners project proposals and develop ON L-partner concept notes and proposals including donor mapping, budgets, results planning, and defining additional staff needs, systems and procurement; Together with Field Monitoring Officer Finance, assist the Program Officer to monitor program quality to ensure relevance, progress against objectives, compliance of the project with humanitarian standards and principles and compliance with donor requirements; To assist in identifying and coordinate capacity building activities of Partners in order to achieve set objectives. To provide continuous up-to-date information on the field situation that could potentially affect humanitarian situation and ongoing interventions Where applicable and upon request, to support the Humanitarian Programme Officer with Oxfam Humanitarian Lead tasks related to response, preparedness and representation. : Project Officer-Humanitarian Three Months Negotiable Consultancy Islamabad, Pakistan

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 24 months of experience in a relevant professional environment Experience with emergency programs, assessments and partners coordination Good capacity building and training skills Good understanding on integrated programs (FSL,WASH) and incorporation of cross-cutting issues (DRR, Gender)
