Product Description:
567 is a high viscosity, anaerobic threadsealing adhesive for all types of specialty metal fittings where elevated temperatures may occur. Cured performance shows controlled, removable strength on straight and tapered threads up to 2. 567 exhibits good temperature and solvent resistance against both polar and non-polar solvents, industrial fluids and steam. This product cures reliably on all metal surfaces including stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized and plated parts. This product has a fast cure speed on normal or plated metal surfaces without primers and fixtures steel parts in 40 minutes or less. 567 provides a consistent strength over a wide temperature range from 65F to 400F. 567 was developed for sealing and locking threads on stainless steel pipe threads, hydraulic and pneumatic straight threads where a controlled torque is required for disassembly. Base Resin: Methacrylate Percent Solids: 100%
Solvent Resistance: Lube Oil, Water, Glycol, Gasoline @ 140F Transmission Fluid ImmersionTests: >90 % Retention of Strength
Apply adhesive to one thread surface. Assemble with mating component and let fixture for 60 minutes before handling
Curing Information:
Fixture Time: 40 minutes Full Strength: 24 hours Note: Material outside bondline will stay liquid.. Application Note: Material is not sensitive to moisture, but is sensitive to UV light and heat. Will not cure if exposed to oxygen. Not recommended for copper pipe, tubing or fittings. DO NOT USE ON OXYGEN SUPPLY SYSTEMS. Read MSDS before use.
Benefits of Adhesive: * Good Adhesion and Sealing Capability * 100% Reactive Solids Formulation For Cost-Effectiveness * Controlled Strength for Removability * Seals threaded fittings up to 10000 psi operating pressures. * High Viscosity for non-sag Characteristics
