ABOUT MYSELF
My name is J. Deepak John pursuing 2nd year, B.E Computer Science Engineering in the prestigious institution Loyola ICAM College of Engineering and Technology [LICET], Chennai. Being very young my age stood no obstacle in me accomplishing various technological achievements bringing pride and honor to my Family, Institution and my Nation. Developing an Operating System Project MICROS [Mobile In-Curred Revolutionized Operating System] at the age of 17, my venture into various technological aspects brought me in developing ways of establishing a strong bond with the society and its current technology. My inventions being Social oriented led me into my new venture, Project GENESIS.

Code Name REVA Abstract:
Project GENESIS, is where Technology meets the Community to keep the society safe. It deals with handling the current scenario of auto motorist problems in an effective and compromising way by establishing a relationship between The People The Government The Technology. It comprises of a Mobile application currently, which in its future attributes will include a SMS center and a complaint forum website. Project GENESIS is an initiative against these misdoings of auto motorists. It started off because there wasnt a voice to report such acts by the auto motorists. Hence by using the advantage to work hand in hand with the government an assurity that justice would be served is provided.

Problem Synopsis:
Many have come across the following when it comes to auto motorists : Harsh Driving Over Speeding Over charged Taxi and Auto Rikshaw Drivers Usage of bad language Deviating from current route Tampered Meters Alcohol, Cigarette's and Narcotics usage Usage of Mobile Etc Questions arises in ones mind that remain unanswered when it comes to a trustworthy source, the community can rely on: What can the average man do when he comes across such atrocities of the society? Where can he go to register such complaints against an auto motorist? How will he get justice?

Impact on the society:

There is a distress among the average man. There isnt any means of communicating such acts by auto motorists and earning justice. Tourists, students, foreigners even the average man gets fooled by higher pricing of tariffs for transportation. Peoples trust in the government and traffic police is decreased substantially against lack of action. Due to this there is a substantial increase in these problems. An increase in traffic related problems becomes a burden to the society and its growth.

Problem Solution:
Project GENESIS, It deals with handling the current scenario of auto motorist problems in an effective and compromising way by establishing a relationship between The People The Government The Technology. It comprises of a Mobile application currently, which in its future attributes will include a SMS center and a complaint forum website.

Project GENESIS Project GENESIS consists of a mobile application called REVA which comprises of 3 tabs : General, Directions and Emergency. The general tab will serve as a complain page where the user can input the address plate or click a picture of the address plate and input the complaint. The app will then send the info to a dedicated server of the traffic police where the complaint will be processed. If in 6 months is the review of the vehicle is bad the license of the driver will be terminated. The directions tab allows the user to select the source and destination, the directions for the route , the kilometers covered and the amount to be given for the kilometers covered is provided to the user by the app based on the allocation of tariff by the government. It also includes the change of routes such as diversions and blocks done by the traffic police. The emergency tab will include all the emergency number details with an option to call or send a text.

Original reference of the idea:

Project GENESIS is an initiative against these misdoings of auto motorists. It started off cause there wasnt a voice to report such acts by the auto motorists. Hence by using the advantage to work hand in hand with the government an assurity that justice would be served is provided. The entire Project GENESIS wasnt referred from anywhere but is a completely innovative tool thought out and designed by myself that will soon be implemented nationwide to reduce traffic concerns. It starts off with a mobile application - REVA that comprises of 3 tabs under its app : General Directions Emergency

REVA-General Tab:
It contains the following features: Address Plate o Type The user can provide a manual input of the vehicle address o Camera Capture The user can capture the image of the address plate and the image is converted to text thus enabling app to reduce the time constraints of the user. Star Rating A comprehensive review of the vehicle, ranging from worst to good. Description [Optional Input] This is an optional input by the user meaning it neednt be entered in order to proceed to the submission of the server. The user is allowed to share his views and perspective of the vehicle and his misdoings. Complaint Check [Optional Input] This provides the user with a range of input selections enabling them to quickly access the most common complaints against motorists. This selection panel will contain the following: o Over Speeding o Higher Tariff Charge o Bad Attitude o Off route o Alcoholic, Cigarette's or Drugs Consumption o Tampered Meters Submit, Cancel This transfers the information to a database server of the Traffic Police department to do the needful.

REVA-Directions Tab:
Source The starting location of the user is entered. Destination The final destination of the user is entered. Map Displays the map and its directions for the entered route. Route with directions Shows the quickest and nearest route to be taken and covered by the user. Kilometers Covered and Time taken - Calculates the kilometers covered along with the time taken to travel. The Allocated Tariff Cost Based on the kilometer covered the accurate tariff for the travel is calculated via Bus, Auto, Train or Taxi.

REVA-Emergency Tab:
Contains contact information for quick access. Has quick search feature with call and SMS functionality.

REVA Unlock Features:

Hotspots of the city. Change of routes/Diversions and Road block notifications. Current event happenings. Nearest Restaurants, Banks, Atms, etc Ad Free App.

Submit process:
The information is sent to a centralized secured server of the traffic police department, the reviews for each complaint will be processed and narrowed. Upon a completion of 3 months, a warning will be sent to the designated driver if his review is of bad standards. An extension will be provided to the driver after 3 months for an improvement in his/her review. On further continuation of a bad review will lead to termination of the drivers license.

Monitor and Privacy:

The app will be in association with the media partner The NDTV HINDU, hence ignorance will lead to media involvement and pressurization. The server will store only the review of the auto motorists any information regarding the common man will not be leaked and will be kept confidential.

The Government Advantages:

It establishes a means of communication and interaction with the common man. Creates an impact in the tourism industry. A means by which the views and concerns of the public can be heard out. Increases Technological aspect of the state. Less of traffic concerns. A substantial increase in the peoples trust on the government.

Reaching out:
Placing QR codes to download the app at the terminals of the airport, train stations, bus depots, etc. Using mass media by means of spreading the QR code to download the app. Social media such as facebook and twitter by means of communication with the general public. The android market, the istore, the windows market and the blackberry store.

Project GENESIS Future Attribute's:

Online website forum o People can login and complain on various traffic related regulations. o App updates and comments can be discussed. o People without the app can complain via online means. SMS Centre o A simple yet intuitive tool. o Sends the address plate and complaint for processing. o Fast and effective.

Project GENESIS scope:

Project GENESIS will place its mark by starting off in Chennai, it will then spread-out to nearby states and expanding itself in a national level.

Consumerist and political, as the project deals with the government and the people playing hand in hand along with the Technology to reduce the traffic concerns in the nation.

Conclusion:
Its a new age of technological advancements which is the key to tap in, hence people can now be dependent and have assurance on justice to be served at the right time by the right people making pointless arguments on the streets as a thing of the past. It connects the government with the people directly and earns their trust in the process which enhances the growth of the society. The workload of the Traffic Police will be substantially decreased paving the way for safer roads to travel and in a safe community to live in. Project GENESIS is where Technology meets the Community to keep the society safe, this initiative will soon modernize and revolutionize the way we travel in our own roads. By this initiation Tamil Nadu will be the pioneers in paving the way to a technological revolution in India.
