Aspects of Calling to Islam and Spiritual Education in the two chapters: the Book of Knowledge and the Book

of the Softening of the Hearts from Fath al-Bari, a Critical Analysis.

Theoretical framework:
The aim of my research is to analyze the aspects of Dawah and spiritual education in Fath al-Bari the prolific commentary of Sahih al-Bukhari written by one of the major Hadith scholars from the 8th/14th century, Ahmad b. Nur al-Din Ali Ibn Hajar alAsqalani often called al-fiz. This work is a critically study of his exegesis of two hundred and fifty-six Hadith found in two books of Sahih Bukhari: Kitab al-'Alim and Kitab al-Riqaq. The relevance of this topic will be to offer an analysis of how one of the last great classical Hadith scholars deduced from Hadith the Islamic principles of calling to Islam and spiritual education. The writings of al- fiz according to F. Rosenthal were whose life work constitutes the final summation of the science of adit. 1described as, It can be argued that he represents the culmination or the epitome of the classical scholarship of Hadith and an examination of his commentary will shed light on the role of the Sunnah as employed by classical Muhaddithin in elaborating on dawah and spiritual teachings in Islam. I use the systems analysis type of evaluation research methodology to study this exegesis of the original objectives of the messenger and how they were accomplished and what were the ways he approached conveying the message of Islam and teaching sprituality? I approach Islam and Islamic knowledge as found in theses Hadith as a system, the integration of its various principles build a holistic Muslim individual, family and society. Then the aspects of calling to Islam and spiritual education are analyzed as a subsystem of the way of life or the system of Islam. I see how the meanings and messages in these Hadith interface and form a synthesis of the overall holistic system of Islam. What is the mental mode of reality that Islamic spiritual education seeks to form in a Muslims mind and guide his way of life? I will display the principles of Islam as a whole, then evaluate the qualities and relevant meanings of dawah and spiritual education as properties of the encompassing whole of Islam. distinguishing and meaningful constructions of these two aspects synthesize and help to form the way of life of Islam.
