Constantinople, now Istanbul

This article is based on a historical link between Constantinople and curren t

city Istanbul, values and tradition which are now been followed. Before
proceeding with the article, explaining the significance, which might get
attentive eyes. Officiall y and b y means Turke y is considered as a Muslim
countr y, and its roots residing in a deeper historic time of Romans. When and
how the nation conver ted to Muslim communit y tribe can be justified by an era
of revolu tions and wars. But before that the area or region was consider ed as a
part of Constantine tribe, and from where the first religion made an embark.
Still now most of the historic depictions are combined culture of Muslim and
Christianit y Era and beliefs. Though Emperor Constantine presented number
of gifts and valuable to Jesus and Mar y but before that for unity of empire a
sub relig ion was marked named “Constantine”.

Turke y is far from an y news events which can be political, economical or

social agenda, having a diplomatic approach toward religious scenario is
mostl y considered as western communist societ y. Comparing its historical
even ts, the roots which are heritage of this region to the current existing
political approach does enlighten a thinking mind. The region has a significant
impor tance; it resides on land route to Europe and Asia. All around the world,
religion parts way and terroris m are been considered on top of political agenda,
strange to admit that the region from where it gets its roots is ignorant from all
these events. Istanbul, the cit y has also been nicknamed "The City on Seven
Hills" because the histor ic peninsula, the oldest part of the cit y, was built on
seven hills (just like Rome), each of which bears a histor ic mosque. The hills
are represented in the cit y's emblem with seven triangles, above which rise
four minarets. Much of these points relate of religion Judais m philosoph y. One
migh t ask all these religions are inter linked or created by one source and th is
area have conquered b y most of the religious nations.
Two of many other old nicknames of Istanbul are Vasilevousa Polis (the Queen
of Cities ), which rose from the cit y' s impor tance and wealth throughout the
Middle Ages; and Dersaadet, originally Der-i Saadet (the Door to Happiness )
which was first used towards the end of 19th centur y and is still remembered
toda y. [1]

The historic painting presented below, depicting Constantine; was followed b y

nu mber of other religions later came into existing such as Buddhis m, Sikhis m.
All are much similar to Constantine. Emperor Constantine pole was a Saint as
rest of many others but only a Saint with an empire, and with a religion.
