Exciting Winter Festival illuminated with 540,000 LEDs, the largest size ever!

"Namba Hikaritabi" illumination will be held in the Namba area.

Joint illumination Namba Hikaritabi will be held from Friday November 15, 2013. This year's Namba Hikaritabi will have 540,000 LEDs, additional 180,000 LEDs from last year. Especially Namba Park's waterfall light, Hikari no Taki, the largest one in Japan, will expand in height, width and staging than of last year to attracts all visitors. Other areas will also be illuminated with more lights as well as artistic objects and decorations to showcase Namba at night. This is a fun event for domestic and foreign visitors to experience Namba's winter charming sights including Christmas, a New year, Spring festival and Valentine's day.

 Purpose of the event Namba offered a unique gourmet culture and entertainments in old days. Today it is a district that integrates various functions of the city as well a hub to connect Kansai Airport, the sky gateway and other areas of Osaka.
