The objective study are (1) to analyze Death Race movie based on its structural elements, (2) The major problem of this study is the motivation of Jensen mes to survive and !et the freedom especially reflected in "aul #$% nderson Death Race (2&&') movie$ The purpose of the research is to analyze the movie based on the structural elements and to analyze the movie based on the humanistic psycholo!ical perspective$ The type of the research is (ualitative$ The primary data source that is used by the )riter is Death race movie and the script )hich is )ritten by "aul *aslin!er$ +ovie script )as ta,en from a )ebsite$ The secondary data are ta,en from the other sources )hich relate to this movie such as bio!raphy of the author and the other relevant information$ The method of collectin! data is library research )hereas the techni(ue for analyzin! is descriptive analysis$ The outcome of the study sho)s the follo)in! conclusions$ -irstly, based on the structural analysis it indicates that each of narrative and technical element is interrelated to each other$ %econdly, based on the humanistic psycholo!ical analysis, there is close relation bet)een the movie production and the underline theory )hich reflect that a person can satisfy his needs to survive and !et a freedom in this life$ -rom this movie the )riter finds the messa!e that a person needs hard )or, to !et freedom and never !ives up for it$
