INTRODUCTION

Research is a detailed study of something in order to improve the practice or discover the new facts or info that can be use in the future. According to Jolley ( 2010, p.4), research is a systematic enquiry and the result is the expected outcome if they are using questionnaire as the methodology. Research also known as a logical investigation that has been used to break the query for the old method of practice. The research it selves will give us a clear picture about the selected topic or make us understand more about something. Polit & Beck, (2006,p.4) mentioned that research is systematic inquiry that use disciplines methods to answer question or solve pro blem . Its mean,research is useful in order to solve the problems that occur and its benefit to the profesion or and organization. Lobionda-wood & Haber ,(2010,p.13) mentioned that the critique is the process of critical appraisal that objectively and critically evaluates a research reports content for scientific validity or merit and application to practice . According to Booth (cited in Gerrish & Lacey,(2006, p.107), critical appraisal is needed for researcher and practitioners to assess the validity of a research study or group studies and whether their result can be applied to a particular situation. A research critique is a careful appraisal of the strengths and weakneses of a research study (Polit & Beck,2008). Polit & Beck also mentioned in Baswell & Cannon (2010, p332) that a research critique is a mechanism to provide feedback for improvement. It is an important component as a critique enables the practitioner to evaluate the research finding. A research critique is done before the particular research finding can be adopted in the practice. In other word is no right or no wrong. Critique is to make the research become better by improving the weaknesses. The purpose of critical appraisal is often seen as being multiple. For example to enable the practitioner to read research studies objectively as well as to identity the good points and bad points, the strengths and weakness, the usefulness of a report and the limitations(hancock 2001 p.1). The critical appraisal also used as an important

pathway in developing the safest and most helpful practice that available to the patients. It is very important for the author of this paper to know the main components in the research paper before perform a critique. The author believed that the relationship between knowledge, theory, practice and research will help in research finding and help in completing the task. The task for critiquing a research paper is not really easy. It is not to judge that the research paper is right or wrong. It is also not just reading the paper and expressing what the author thinks. Schneider et al(2003,p.60) mentioned that research studies require a special kind of critical analysis. A research report is not easy to do, even for experienced researcher. Sometimes, the researchers wrongly interpret the data and it will make the research looked like disorganized. The overall purpose of this assignment is for the author to attempt or to describe and critique research paper taken from a profesional journal. ..
