4 Detailed Release Notes

Client Updates This release addresses the following Sure Step client issues: Priority Title Implementation of full-text search feature. This includes selection of filtering metadata and types of documents to search. Search covers all core Sure Step text, Sure Step tools, and the content of the selected Sure Step project. An item in the search results can be selected to move to that content. A history of the last eight search terms is kept. Search may be executed from a text entry field and button in the upper-right of the standard screen, or from the Search tab. Roles and owners for an activity are now displayed if any Owners or Participants are designated for it. Previously, these would not be shown unless roles were designated for each of the Owner, Customer Role, and Consulting Role attributes. Fixes addressing a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer 8 were implemented. Internet Explorer 8 is now supported for Sure Step (English content only). For other languages, IE8 will be supported as updated language packs are made available by Sure Step (planned for Q2 of calendar 2009). User-managed subfolders are now supported within Sure Step projects. Users may create subfolders inside these projects and move / edit files within them. The Sure Step client will make these documents visible in the Project Documents view, and will search them using the new Search feature. The project logo wizard has been enhanced. This feature previously permitted the application of a logo to all documents within a Sure Step project. This feature has had two enhancements: Logos submitted to the wizard will be resized if they are not exactly equal to the standard logo size. Microsoft Word documents will also have the Customer Name and Project Name placeholders replaced by project values. Users may still find it necessary to execute the update command within Microsoft Word to complete the process and have these values shown in the document. The project repository path is now visible on the Projects tab. Clicking on this will take the user to the Preferences tab where the repository path may be changed. Within the Documents tab, with a single phase selected, a document's setting for the Deliverable attribute is now shown. This setting may be "Client ready", indicating that it is a document that would typically be shared with a client and may also be contractually
