Virginias Geography Summative Assessment

There will be three parts to this assessment. First you will locate and label the water features important to the early history of Virginia on the Geographic Regions of Virginia map provided. Next you will color Virginias five regions according to the key and write one physical characteristic of each region in the boxes below. Lastly you will label Virginias bordering states which are labeled C, D, E, F, and G. A checklist is provided with all the features you will locate on your map. Once you have completed your map, double check that everything has been marked off on your checklist.

For the second part of the assessment there is a quiz about Virginias geography. Make sure you take your time to read each questions carefully and select the best answer. The third part of the assessment will be a short essay explaining how water features influenced the development of Virginia, be sure to EXPLAIN your answer with supporting details.
