Introducing the Newly Elected Undergraduate Chapter Presidents

During her free time, Julia enjoys singing, playing guitar, tutoring, as well as writing and editing for school newspapers. She believes every position holds its own power to contribute and opportunity is an awful thing to waste. Among many goals, Soror Langone plans to reestablish more unified Greek relationships on the Seton Hall campus. Annakay Brown, Kappa Upsilon Born and raised in Manchester, Jamaica, Soror Annakay Brown arrived in the United States at the age of 7. Although she had to endure the struggles of leaving close family and friends behind, she assimilated well to the American culture. Initially, being a 7-year-old girl, Annakays desires were to either become a princess or the president of the United States; however, being surrounded by family members who were heavily involved in healthcare served as the impetus in her desire to become a nurse. In order to progress towards her goal, Soror Brown entered one of the top nursing programs in the state at Ramapo College of New Jersey, in Mahwah, in 2011. Once Annakay entered Ramapo College, she not only demonstrated her dedication to her future and her studies, but she also highlighted her assiduousness through her active participation on her campus. During her freshman year, she was an active member on the Ramapo College track team. In addition, during her sophomore year, she became a member of the Students of Caribbean Ancestry Club as Historian, and ascended to Vice President within one semester. Still never tiring in her efforts, in Spring 2013 Sorer Brown became a charter member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Kappa Upsilon Chapter, along with Sorors Tanayah Flores, Melissa Ransome, Nykhia Walker, and Marika Morris. She continues to strive towards her goal in nursing as well as being an active member on campus and in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
