Bill Gates

Introduction:
Bill Gates was October 28th, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. He first showed an interest in computer programming at the age of 13. Through innovation, business strategy, and tactics, he and partner Paul Allen built Microsoft, the worlds largest software business. Gates became one of the richest men on earth.

Problems
Paul Allen (Bills partner) was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, he resigned from the company, because he thought he had better things to do with his life. Before the windows program was developed, Gates announced his existence as a marketing tactic to get the computer market to change his computer program.

Childhood
Born William Henry Gates the third (on October 28th, 1955 in Seattle, Washington as mentioned in introduction). He grew up in a upper middle class gamily with two sisters (Kristianne and Libby). Gates family was close, all three children were encouraged to be competitive and strive for excellence. Bill coordinated family athletic games at their summer house on Puget Sound. He also loved playing board games; Risk and Monopoly were his favorite. He was very close to his mother (Marry Maxwell Gates). Bill went along with her when she volunteered in schools and at community organizations. Bill spent many hours reading reference books, such as encyclopedia. His parents became worried about him, because he seemed bored and withdrawal at some times. When he turned 13 they enrolled him at an exclusive prep school; Seattle's Lakeside school (SLSS). He excelled in math, science, drama, and English. While at school a Seattle computer company offered to provide computer time for students. Bill became entranced with what a computer could do and spent a great time working on the terminals. It was at SLSS where he met Paul Allen and they became fast friends. In 1970 he went into computer program that measured traffic patterns in Seattle they made $20,000.

Accomplishments/Achievements
Gates and Allen wrote the first software program for the personal computer. In 1975 Gates and Allen found a partnership called Microsoft (the titles from micro computer and software). Because of his keen business sense, Microsoft grossed 2.5 million in 1978 he was only 23 years old. He partners with IBM to write software for their personal computers, and for Apple. In 1983

Trivia
Bill gates married Melinda French. They had three children. In 2000 Bill and Melinda foundation by a 28 billion contribution. Bills last day at Microsoft was June 27th, 2008.

Microsoft went global with 30% of the worlds computers were running on it. With his knowledge of Microsoft he developed windows, a system that used a mouse to drive a graphic interface, displaying test and images on the screen. In 1987 gates became a Billionaire.
