What youll experience on your tour

Day 1: Fly overnight to England Day 2: London Meet your Tour Director at the airport in London, a city of 8 million people that has become one of the worlds great melting pots while maintaining a distinct character thats all its own. From the London Bridge to the Houses of Parliament, Great Britains royal tradition and rich history greet you at every turn. Admire architectural marvels like the Baroque domes and spires of St. Pauls Cathedral, the 17thcentury church designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Check out the lively ve-way intersection at Piccadilly Circus as well as Hyde Parks urban greenery. You may even get a chance to witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guard. And dont forget to snap a picture of Big Ben from the banks of the River Thames. Take a walking tour of London: The Strand; Trafalgar Square; Leicester Square; Covent Garden Day 3: London Take an expertly guided tour of London: Big Ben and Houses of Parliament; Piccadilly Circus; St. Pauls Cathedral; Westminster Abbey Visit the Tower of London Time to see more of London or Ride the London Eye and enjoy a Thames River cruise (April-September) Day 4: London | Paris Travel by Eurostar train to Paris, the City of Light. During your stay youll get a taste of Parisian style as you ride down the Champslyses, an elegant boulevard packed with high-fashion boutiques. Pass the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe and strike a pose in front of the Eiffel Tower. At the cole Militaire, see where a promising young Napoleon launched his rise to power. I.M. Peis iconic glass pyramid marks the entrance to the renowned Louvre, home to treasures like Leonardo da Vincis Mona Lisa. Then, admire the Notre Dame Cathedrals sculptured faade, stained-glass rose windows and seemingly weightless vaulted ceilings.

Day 5: Paris | Versailles Take an expertly guided tour of Paris: Place de la Concorde; Champs-lyses; Arc de Triomphe; Les Invalides; Eiffel Tower Take an expertly guided tour of Versailles. Nobody does decadence like Louis XIV, and theres no better testament to this than Versailles. Under the direction of the Sun King, the chteau that began as a modest hunting lodge exploded into one of the largest palaces on earth. On your excursion to this lavish estate, explore the state apartments of the king and queen and the magnicent Hall of Mirrors. Walk through the meticulously landscaped gardens and marvel at dozens of ornate fountains. Discover why Versailles was more than just a vacation home: Louis XIV hosted his royal court here to reign in their power and prevent their political rise.
