,ART R3CO*NITION 4ost $arts are o'&ious 'ut the ones with the nu%'ers are as !ollows# 91 are the %otor %ount sides -dou'lers/1 two thi"k on ea"h side1 %ake sure ou noti"e one side has an angle# The angle "oris$onds to the angle on the 'lue "enter 'lo"k1 there is 1#5 degrees downthrust !or the %otor# These are installed a!ter the de$ron !usealage sides are atta"hed to the 'lue 'lo"k# 9. is installed a!ter 91# 9. is the %otor %ount to$ -dou'ler/# 9. is ta$ered 'e"ause the inside o! the %otor%ount will 'e ta$ered as well a!ter the !use sides are installed 9: is the 'atter 'o( sides# Noti"e the ha&e a "ut line and arrows "ut into the%# The arrows are to 'e at the to$ o! the 'o( and $oint to the !ront o! the 185# The "ut out is where the langing gear wire will $ass through# 9: are installed !irst with the landing gear and then 9; goes o&er to seal in the landing gear1 again arrow goes to the to$ and

$oints to the !ront# *orrila glue handles the whole <o' here# T)3 FUS3+A*3 The !irst thing is to la%inate the two 'lue 'lo"ks using *orrila glue# 7ou onl need a thin la er o! glue# =on6t o&er glue# 4ake sure the sides %at"h# ,in and weight down the 'lue 'lo"ks# Note> I! ou s$ra one side with water the glue will set u$ 5ui"ker# Now "ut out the $a$er sanding guides and tra"e the lines on to the 'lo"k !ront and 'a"k# This will "reate the ta$er !or the !use sides# Take our ti%e and %ake it e&en# 8? grit sand $a$er and a light tou"h suggested#

7ou will noti"e a not"h on the inside o! the 'lo"k# Using a kni!e or ha"ksaw1 gentle "ontinue this not"h down the side# The landing gear wire will go through here# This also lines u$ with $art 9:

The under"a%'ered is shown 'elow1 ou ha&e the !lat wing &ersion with ailerons1 'ut the 'uild is the sa%e# *et out those $ins and dollar store ru''er 'ands# Thin a%ount o! *orrila glue and water s$ra "o&ers this# 4ake sure e&er thing lines u$# The !ront %a not line u$ $er!e"t 'e"ause %ost o! it will 'e sanded to the line ou drew# ,IN T)3 SI=3S or it will %o&e# Noti"e the 'lue 'lo"k sits 1@;A 'elow the sides1 this is where the triangle to$ goes#

Install the stri$s as shown# Install the stri$s on the wing saddle !lush with the edge# Install the rear stri$s a 1@;A 'elow the edge# When the

glue has set1 install the to$ and 'otto% triangle "a$s# The to$ one lines u$ with the 'a"k o! the wing saddle and sits on to$ o! the 'lue 'lo"k

It is a good idea to !it1 'ut do not glue the 'otto% on until a!ter ou ha&e installed the "ontrol rods#

,reB'end ea"h landing gear wire to the $lan and test !it as shown 'elow

Sand and sha$e the nose 1?? grit and then ..? grit works well# A!ter sanding1 glue in landing gear and landing gear dou'lers

Now ou "an install the dowel rods through the !use1 !ront and 'a"k# Noti"e the hole "ut out !or the "ontrol rods -'elow/#

Atta"hing the tail !eathers# It6s a good idea to hinge the rudder 'e!ore gluing it to the !use# =o not hinge the ele&ator until a!ter gluing the hori8ontal sta'ali8er into $la"e# ,rint out the "ontrol rod detail Cli"k )ere Asse%'le the "ontrol rods as shown# Install our ser&os and "enter the% using our radio# 4ake sure the rudder and ele&ator and ser&os are in the neutral $osition 'e!ore gluing the #?;? wire in $la"e#

7ou will 'e "utting a slot in the to$ o! the !use !or the rudder "ontrol rod# 7ou will 'e "utting a slot in the side o! the !use !or the ele&ator "ontrol rod# Asse%'le wing as shown

*lue the wing hal&es together on a !lat sur!a"e and glue the 1@8A ,l wood Stri$s to the !ront and 'a"k o! wing and install the "ar'on stri$s# *lue the ser&o to the underside o! the wing# ,osition the ser&o a'out 1@8A !ro% the !use sides and not"h the to$ o! the wing seat to allow the wires to get to the radio# CG is 2 1/4 from the leading edge of the wing
