1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1.1 Purpose of report
Purpose of this report is to provide a good policy to Muscat Juice company which is suffering in bad attitude from workers and need high performance working from workers. In includes all possible problems which workers faces during work and also include all barriers which managers and senior workers find during working, so this report will explain most of these issues and provide a policy how to overcome these problems.

1.2 Background of project


Muscat company faces ill attitude from workers as they are facing problems from HR department as HR department running old methodologies to run the organization, and hence newly recruited people dont want to work as slaves as they think about old methods policies. They want to make contribute in progress of company and want to get involved in decisions, and want to know progress of work. So it is need to deploy a policy which overcome all issues.

1.3 What has been done and how


I have made research about company problems by designing a questionnaire and ask these questions to all people either they are working in sales department or HR , almost all of people, and I notice that all people are happy as they found out that they will get rid of their problems and soon a good policy will be implement which make them help to work with ease and making company profitable again.

1.4 The main findings


I have found main problem is about old company policy which authorize only one person to get all rights to do or do not do. When this centralize policy make the new people unhappy as they know that world is changing and they should run according to time and should be implemented new policies which can help the organization to run with success. If still using old technology and old methods to manage the people, it will ruin the company. And also there is no professional training provided to new staff, and all work is running only on experience. And that experience was using by old techniques, but should be implement new techniques to run forward.

1.5 Summarized conclusion


I have conclude that company is running with old methods and using old technology where there is no chance for new fresh blood to show their temper in progress of company while using old techniques do not help the people to growup in carrier and people with bad attitude are

spoiling the company and company still bear them as they have no other choice which can replace that experienced persons.

1.6 Summarized recommendations.


I recommend to Muscat juice company to make changing in company policy and main changing need in HR department, where they recruit for attitude and train for skills, so they should provide training in all professional level and making new rules as giving persons privilege who direct facing the customers and they can take decision under company policy, and take feed back from them that how customer looks our products and what they want from Muscat juice company.

2 Introduction
2.1 Company Profile
Muscat company is known as its fresh fruit juices all around the world, which is developed and providing the customers fresh juices from 1990. Its good will and brand name make the buyer satisfied on products quality. Now from a couple of years this company is facing some problems in labor and production and sale division as they complaining for not good response from HR department. It is need of hour to implement the new policies to grow up company business by solving the problems of persons by implementing new policies which offer peace of mind not only labor but also company heads. I have to make an report and providing a good policy to company which help the company to work well. Company is working on old centralized policy which is not good now a days to act upon where one boss have all rights to make decision and labor are treated as slaves. Not new training provided to new comers and when any old experienced staff retired then company workers feel difficulty to perform work as whole work depend upon one experienced person. Old methods are used in technology, which are not applicable now a days. People management process is not good and making troubles with fresh new comers who dont want old fashioned way of work.

2.2 Vision Thoroughly collecting fresh juices from our well managed forms and providing to our respectable consumers to feel the quality of fresh juices all around the world.

2.3 Mission Develop fruit juice business which enhance the quality of natural and fresh juices by providing real quality and original taste of juices at lowest price and making the value of our stakeholders extensively high.

2.4 Goal Goal of Muscat company is to serve the people with high quality fresh juices with less price to ensure improved health of people.

Strength Our company is oldest company in fresh juice market. It has created the best image in consumers mind. Our company is best in providing quality products, hence getting ISO9001 certificate. Our company have largest share in fruit juices market. Keeping research in new methods of technology offers new products in juices line.

Weakness Our company have less storage space for last one year. Our price is slightly higher then available compotators in field.

Opportunity Making more marketing in new areas will provide good sales growth. Our company name is already best in people mind, so explorer new areas will provide early recognition in people. We can support new investor even local and foreign investors to grow up business and stakeholders value.

As health & quality awareness is recently increasing among people so it is better for our company as we do not compromise on quality.

Threats New competitors are in field. Workers getting experience from our company and join other manufacturer and working as our competitors. If Government have changed Rules on tax, it would increase price of products. Labor cost can be increased. Labor stop working or not find any good workers to work.

3.5 Context Issues Company is currently suffering in some issues from workers which makes headache to company management. I am here to find out these issues and providing the best solutions available to make the company work continuously. I have found some big problems which are given below; Company is working on old policies which strength the centralization of few persons which makes the people especially newcomers as slaves and not providing them rights to do some thing or offer any good suggestion for good future of company. Training of new and currently working employees are not provided. New technologies and method are developing now a days and company is unaware of these beneficial methods which increase product ability of staff. Organization objective is not longer available in workers mind either labor or management staff. It is need to hour to make this in people mind so they do all work by keeping organization objective in mind. Any worker who have given his entire life to company future have no life after retirement as company not providing enough money or other facilities for him that he can spend his rest of life with peace of mind. As this happens so company workers are not committed with their work as they found a little benefit they escape and leave the job.

4 Literature Review
4.1 Organization Structure

As we can see above the full authority is only President have who is owner of our company. He have assigned his son as vice president and all company matter he see. He is the signing authority and can suspend and recruit and person and take decisions. He have legal advisors to look after our company in law side. In our organization Accounting and Marketing persons can take end users decisions as they are directly faces customers and they can do according to company policies, like reduce the price of product for whole seller or something. Or making promotion for old stock. Legal department also look after for newly enrolled persons and provide them visa and other things. Human resource department can provide training to all new and old staff to make sure that every one know his duty best.

4.2 Organization Task Design Organization task design describe the tasks of each level and provide a narrow view of organizations structure , it include many features or task . each task represent task of each department. As we see above that our company have small chain, so it would be more task for each sections. So I am going to describe some of organizations tasks below;

4.2.1 Distribute authority It is primary task and as we see above in our company structure, we know that there are two type of organizations which are centralized authority and decentralized authority. In our organization we give privilege to centralize authority task as all authority President have and even vice president can take decisions but he have to get permission from president from any big issue.

4.2.2 Span of Control It shows that how many managers are controlling or managing how many people under their supervision. In some departments there are a lot of people under one manager and in some department there are only few people under one manager. It depend upon which department is discussed.

4.2.3 Organization Height If any organization structure height is more, it have too many department and too many task are separately divided among peoples who manage them, while we have very small company and very few departments , hence every manager have more task to do, more matter have to look after at a time, as we see above Legal department not only see our law section but also looking after for new recruits visa and so on.

4.2.4 Line or Staff Structure There are two types of structure within company structure, some persons are directed connected to authority and some person are linked with chain of task. Like people who are working in sales or marketing department they have direct authority of reduce the price or like that while handling of customers. But other people who are working is human resource department they have to answer for their activity to their manager and he have to give answer to vice president and vice president to president.

4.2.5 Create Departments When any organization grow up, it is need of organization to create many department so every responsibility divided and every task perform on time, departments can be created by function or by product or if organization is gradually developed then may be by location and also there are many other ways for that. In our organization departments are designing by tasks.

4.3 People In this section I am going to explain the high performance working. Its benefits, and why it is necessary in organizations to make growth of companies. High performance working is essential now a days in all working bodies or organizations. There are new policies are invented now a days which helpful for organizations to keep growing. I can discuss now critical points of high performance working now. All people are managed under company policies as company policy should not be strict, it should be flexible, so all people do their duties with keen interest and can make benefit for company. Make the employees involved in company policies and operations so they can suggest what they think better because they know how things working, and how things working good, so always take care about their suggestion. It will increase their role and moral and they work more effectively.

4.3.1 Contribute Environment In newly policies it is essential to give rights for workers to develop the contributors environment. Its means give the workers enough instructions that they know company objectives and working accordingly. And also give good suggestion for growth of company.

4.3.2 Decentralize Authority Decrease centralization position of company heads its means handed over power to lowest level so they can make decision when situation is changed, especially in sales department as they are very close to consumers and know well what is good for company and make decision under company policies.

4.3.3 New Technology Training of new techniques and methods currently using in all modern world of all working levels from labor to managers can make increase company performance, as new techniques decrease old scams and reduce expenses hence company growth well.

4.4 Reward System If any person want to leave the company after his contract is finish then he should be treated with regards and enough resources that he can easily spend his life, company may provide pension or work experience certificated so he can work other places with high salary. If this facility applied then all workers can do their jobs well, as they know they have enough reward at the end.

4.4.1 Internal Promotion Providing internal promotions is also a good policy which generate the high performance working as it create an internal competition so workers tried their best to make the company benefit so benefit themselves. Security of employees is also a major issue. Without workers safety and security it is impossible that workers provide high performance. If any work is required teams building, try to make teams according to workers choices. It will help the workers to work hard, because that team not include any jerk.

5 Methodology

I have setup my research on questionnaire from all employees from the company to make sure that company employees are satisfied from their job and are they found any difficulties for performing their job or they know what are company objectives. For this purpose I setup research and making current following questionnaire; It is supervisor role to identify either what are weakness of their workers or in which fields his employees are good. I found in most cases it is not considered about supervisor that he identifies his workers strength. I makes several questions about training that employees got training about their jobs currently working, and I have found that most of senior level employees are currently on their level due to experience and neither any training is provided to them to improve their abilities , so what they know, they do the same to benefit the company but most of them are dont know about new technologies which can improve their work. I make questions about management behavior either management try to support its employees who try to make improvement in their fields or not. It is good thing which help the employee to do work hard. I have ask many employees that either they are happy about their current performance or they can increase if they are getting opportunities. Answer were positive. I setup questions about reward system as if some employee work hard to make company benefits, is any reward for him, this answer make me laugh as there is no program like this. A very typical question which make most of employee nervous was to getting feedback from customers, it was especially for sales department which cannot be answered well. One very important thing about management behavior and I ask in questionnaire is about peer recognition, its means managers and workers either have good contacts or not, and either three levels of peer recognition is fulfilled or not but most of employees dont know that.

I have researched about professional skills learning that either workers and managers got any professional knowledge from their jobs or not. One question which make the good policy for high performance work was to providing opportunities for career growth if employee work hard and try to do positive response , so this was the key question on my research. One question which help the employee to do optimum work is good working conditions which generate best work result ever. If employee feel stress in job then they cant perform high performance work, so it was also in question. Management when take good decision for employees it make them work good, so I also put it is questionnaire to make a good policy. When there is positive competitive environment in company then also high performance work is obtained so creating such a environment in company is responsibility of management, either management perform this task well, I also add it in questionnaire.

6 Discussion & Results


To make a high performance working policy which will help the Muscat company to develop and making more profit and reduce expenses by making customer and employee satisfy so they can perform optimum work in suitable work condition under wise supervision of management is given below. I am offering some good points which muscat company will follow to make good business are given below;

6.1 Organizations structure It is how to make changes in organizations structure to get maximum work from workers, and it is how we have to do changes. what are the scams in this structure which need to be change These steps are discus below;

6.1.1 Support the Week Company should support to all the employees who work hard and improve their weakness to get good strength in professional field to make the company good profit.

6.1.2 Customer Feed Back Very good idea about improving sales department and make the high performance policy for sales department is to get feed back from customers, which will improve service satisfaction from customers.

6.1.3 Positive Visibility Senior management should have positive visibility to employee as employee are working hard and if management should not notice then all hard work from employee are ruined, then they will not do hard work , just do their duty and company will not make profit.

6.1.4 Healthy Environment It is responsibility of company management to create a good positive and healthy environment so employees can do their work with keen interest and within positive competition. Company make an environment which encourages employee evaluation its means company can ask suggestion from employee on any matter which can be positive effect on employee and make him think that he is being asked and being prior tier. Company need to create a contribute environment which generate contribute attitude in employees. Its means employee understand what they are doing and what is purpose of their work. It help them enjoy their work and they do the work with responsibility.

6.1.5 Sense of accomplishment Work accomplishment behavior can be getting from employees when they know their work very well and know company policies, and when companies can declare their objectives to employees so worker do their work with great interest and make it complete.

Hierarchy Barriers

These are the factors actually which stop the employees to grow up in professional fields as there are some possible career blockers which stop the people to grow up in career. These barriers must be overcomed, when these barriers are overcomed then employees have enough courage to do maximum performance in their filed so company will grow up fast. These barriers are many in types, most of them depending upon personal behavior, like communication barrier, with this barrier people cant describe their objectives and hence never grow up in field. It must be break by improving communication skills. There are more barriers which we will discuss later.

6.3 Information Sharing Company workers must know what are objectives of company and what are goals and should try their best to improve vision of company. Company management should enforce and declare its policy to all old and newcomers , so they will not exceed from their limits. It is duty of every supervisor or manager to teach the new comers the policy of company so they aware of pros and cons of company policy, and be aware during work.

6.4 Organization Task Design


6.4.1 Peer Recognition One good policy to make the employees work hard is to generate the environment which support peer recognition, its means senior person like managers and supervisors have mental recognition issue as they and their workers can easily identify what is work and how it is need to be done. And managers and workers have mental contacts even without words they can easily understand that which work need to be done and how it is need to be accomplish.

6.4.2 Interest One good policy is to make the employee jobs interested. As employee enjoy their jobs without any fatigue or tension. And when employee will do job with interest then he will provide high performance working.

6.5 People One good policy which should create by management of Muscat juice company is to provide the career advancement opportunities regardless of any difference to all workers who work hard and try to make muscat company profitable. Workers will definitely work hard and perform high performance when they know there is opportunity for their career growth and they will not join other companies and keep working in same company when they need to grow up company will fulfil their desire and when any post is vacant then HR department know that there is already suitable person available for that post.

6.5.1 Decision power Muscat company should make the high performance working policy about sales department and providing enough rights to sales representatives that they can take decision on time within company policy limits because they know very well what are the circumstances and how to deal with that. If company will allow them enough they will certainly make the company profitable.

6.5.2 Bonus Company can make a program for low salary persons as a bonus program in which they can awarded a good amount of money at the end of the year so they will still working in same company as they know there is compensation for them at the end of year and they work good and perform high performance working.

6.5.3 Good Working Conditions Muscat company should focus on working condition on all workers as some times workers feel stress during work and do not perform optimum performance , so if there is any issue , company should follow up and clear the issue , may be transfer of that person to other department or send him on leave, it can help the employee to work in rough environment and do their optimum progress.

6.6 Employment Security If employee feel stress in job then they cant perform high performance work, so it was also in question. Management when take good decision for employees it make them work good. So make sure employee job is secure and during work he did not find any security issue, which will make him work harder for company.

6.7 Technical Training Muscat company must provide good technical training to all of its employees which contain latest techniques and aware of latest technology used in its juice manufacturing field, so company workers know very well and perform their optimum on all levels , so latest technology perform more predictability and getting more profit.

6.8 Selective Hiring Company HR department should be identify that which employee is on which caliber so when new posts are available then company know that which employee already working and which one is the best and suitable for current vacancy. Its means it is duty of HR department to select the recruits by attitude, and train them required skills. A single trained person with bad attitude may cause unworkability of a lot of people.

6.9 Reward is best policy Company should be launched the reward system, it will help the employee to work in optimum condition and show good output to company as every employee know that if he work hard he will be rewarded. Company can start employee of the month program and there are a lot of other ways to make the employee rewarded as they are happy with that and making more struggle to make the company business profitable.

7 CONCLUSION & Recommendation

I have to make conclusion about all my research in this section. I have found many points in company HR policy and I think it need to change or need a little improvement in all departments so workers work hard and they do not have any problem with HR department and company policy. These points are given below; First of all company must develop a professional environment inside company, which should generate the contribute behavior to all employees , for this purpose HR department should keep in mind about personal attitude while recruit the new candidates or workers, if workers have good attitude even they might not well trained, company can trained them good skills required for work. A good trained person with bad attitude may spoil all company environment. Make it calculate what is demand of customers, sales department know very well because they always keep in contact with customers, so they know requirement of customers and they can give their positive feed back to production department that what kind of queries they are facing from customers and how products level can be increase, it is company responsibility to get feed back from them in daily basis. Company should keep an eye on employees performance and give them good reward, which will increase positive competition between employees and they will try hard to get rewarded, hence their productivity and hard work benefits the company. Make good connections and relationship of senior management and workers , as we know workers do their optimum performance for managers, not for organizations, so if workers have good relationship with management, they will do work hard. Company can make a farewell party quarterly so both can enjoy and refresh for next quarter and do optimum performance.
