at various Drugs Testing Laboratories of CDSCO on contractual basis through M/S Bedi & Bedi Associates - Applications Invited

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (HQ), FDA Bhawan , Near Mata Sundari College, New Delhi -110002 requires Administrative / Finance Consultants, Data Entry Operators, Office Assistants, Librarian, Bench Chemists, Lab Assistants for its various Drugs Testing Laboratories situated in various cities throughout India. The details of post, remuneration etc. may be seen at Annexure-2. These supporting staff will assist Senior officers in matters related to Administrative & Technical works carried out in the office of Drugs Testing Laboratories . Qualification, experience, job description, emoluments etc. for various posts are as under:-

1. Bench Chemist Age:- 21-40 years Qualification: B.Pharmacy or Master Degree in chemistry/ Microbiology. The candidates should also have sound knowledge of computer operation. Candidates having experience in testing of drugs will be given preference. Job Description To assist in analyst in analysis of Drugs and entry & management of data and correspondence related to it. Documentation, creation and maintenance of National Data Bank. Any other duties assigned by the head of Laboratory from time to time. Remuneration : Rs.19,000/- p.m.

2. Data Entry Operator Age:- 21-35 years Qualification: The Candidates should be Graduate with 1 year Diploma in computers from recognized Institute.

Fluent in written and spoken English. Well conversant with computer packages namely, Windows i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. Should have O Basic Foundation level Certificate course of DOECC (Development of Electronic Accreditation for computer Course (India) or equivalent from any Govt. /Recognized Private Institute. Good Working knowledge of Computer and internet/e-mails.

The candidates should have typing speed of 40 w.p.m. Preference will be given to candidates also having short hand knowledge. Work experience of more than 2 years. Job description :Typing of various letters, approvals, licenses, noting etc. along with documentation, Creation & maintenance of National Data Bank. Any other duties assigned by Drugs Controller (India) from time to time. Remuneration : Rs.10,686/- p.m.

3. Office Assistant Age:- 21-63 years Qualification: The candidates should be 12th pass. Work experience of more than 1 year. Job description :To help technical staff in day-to-day work including movement & maintenance of files, record keeping, dak distribution etc. Any other duties assigned by head of the section/division from time to time. Remuneration : Rs.9,802/- p.m.

4. Librarian Age:- 25-40 years. Qualification: Graduate with Library Science. Preferably M.Lib. Job Description: Maintenance of library. Procurement of Library Books, journals and e-journals. Entry of books and Journals in Stock register and issue of Books/Journals. Maintenance of digital CDs, Audio/video CDs/DVDs etc. Remuneration : Rs.12,000/- p.m.

5. Consultant (Finance / Administrative) Age:- 25 63 years Qualification: Graduate with 5 years experience in Administration & Finance. in Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous Body. Preference will be given to retired Govt. servants not below the rank of Section Officer / Accounts Officer. Job description :Handling of Accounts. Budget, Preparation of Bills, Payment of Salary etc. Any other duties assigned by the head of Laboratory from time to time. Preference will be given to experienced retired Govt. Servants. Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- p.m.

6. Accounts Officer Age:- 25 63 years Qualification: Graduate with 5 years experience in Accounts & Finance. in Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous Body. Preference will be given to retired Govt. servants not below the rank of Section Officer/Accounts officer. Job description :Handling of Accounts. Budget, Preparation of Bills, Payment of Salary etc. Any other duties assigned by the head of Laboratory from time to time. Preference will be given to experienced retired Govt. Servants. Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- p.m.

7. Laboratory Assistant Age:- 21-40 years Qualification: The candidates should be 12th pass with Science . Preference will be given to such candidates who having experience of testing of Drugs. Job description :To help technical staff in Drugs testing and allied procedures, proper maintenance of testing records. Reporting of daily testing schedules to technical staff. Remuneration : Rs.9,802/- p.m.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills For all the above posts, the applicants are expected to be proficient with use of computers and internet. Note :1.
