Question: 1) Albrecht Drer copied artworks from other contemporary artists and borrowed imagery. However, he made is own work (compositions) very different from the originals. Do you think that borrowing ideas is forgery? Explain in your own words with at least 10 complete sentences why or why not? 2) Albrecht Drer was the first artist in the Renaissance that had a trademark (or logo), a very clever idea at the time. By looking at figure 2, can you see differences? Explain in 10 complete sentences your observations. Explain these two techniques of printmaking: (1) woodcutting and (2) engraving. 3) Albrecht Drer sued Marcantonio Raimondi for copying his artwork and his monograph (or logo). Drer was essentially doing the Response:
