Tehri Dam: This dam is built on the confluence of
River Bhagirathi and Bhilangna and makes for an interesting visit. While at New Tehri, also visit the Pant Research Institute where various kinds of fruits and plants are grown.

Dhanaulti: At a distance of 12 km from Kanatal,

Dhanaulti offers a scenic escape. Treks and pony rides along fruit orchards and sparkling streams keep visitors engaged with nature.

Shivpuri: About 75 km from Kanatal, Shivpuri is a

popular rafting destination. The best time to go rafting is from September to October and then from March to

Kodia Jungle: This place is a very nice picnic spot.

A leveled 8 km track will take you through dense forests which open up to a vast expanse of undulating hills and valleys. Tiny, gurgling natural springs also come along the way, and if you are lucky you could spot a few wild animals.
