DAILY JOURNAL

Dubai is the region's commercial and tourism centre and connected to all international markets. Dubai is also the regional trading hub and gateway to the rest of the Middle East. Dubai's diversity means that visitors can enjoy a whole range of different experiences. From the beautiful undulating desert sands to the bustling downtown areas, to parks and gardens, Dubai is a city of adventure, contrast, discovery and surprise. Dubai's central business district is divided into two parts - Deira on the northern side and Bur Dubai to the south. Each has its share of fine mosques and busy souks, shopping malls, hotels and office towers. As the premier location for tourism and leisure in the Middle East, Dubai also has a fantastic night life encapsulating the world's tastes when it comes to restaurants and bars.

Day 1- 23th November, 2013 - ARRIVED DUBAI


We arrived at the Dubai International Airport, and made our way to the exit gate to get transferred to our hotel DUBAI GRAND HOTEL. Checked-in at the hotel, relaxed and spend some time at leisure. Then in evening went to CITY CENTER MALL, and then returned back to hotel.

Day 2- 24th November, 2013 - DHOW CRUISE


After having our breakfast in the hotel we went to DUBAI MALL {worlds largest mall with 4500 showrooms}. In the evening, enjoyed a Dhow Cruise tour with buffet dinner. The dhow cruise, aboard a traditional wooden vessel and offers an intriguingly different view of the beautiful city. Presenting a striking contrast in architecture between the two sides of the Creek and an Egyptian folk dance on the cruise it was an awesome experience. And then Returned and stayed overnight at the hotel. .

Day 3- 25th November, 2013 - DUBAI - CITY TOUR & DESERT SAFARI
We had Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we proceed for the Dubai city tour which includes fascinating historical attractions such as visit to Palm Island, Burj Dubai, Emirates tower, Rulers palace, Sheikh Zayed road, Zabeel palace, Jumeraih mosque and beach, Al Fahidi street, Old Arabian Houses and the 150-year old Dubai Fort Dubai Museum and hotel Atlantis . Our tour guide gave us some good pieces of information about all these places during the city tour. After having lunch, We Experienced a magical evening in the desert with an exciting 4WD drives on the sand dunes. Sit back and enjoyed splendid views of the desert sunset. We would stop at the highest sand dune for beautiful sunset photographs. Enjoyed a camel ride. After that relaxed in an Arabian tent, a barbeque dinner was served under the starlit sky. And a traditional belly dance performance was there.

Day 4- 26th November, 2013 - INDUSTRIAL VISIT & LEISURE TIME.


Today after having our breakfast me with my friends went to Al Mamzar Beach Park then came to our hotel for lunch and after having our lunch we went to an industrial trip to DANUBE which was organised by the college. It is the leading building material company in Middle East, gained a lot of information from the visit. After that we went back to our hotel had our dinner and went out to see burj khalifa, worlds tallest building with 165 floors and the fountain dance was a life time experience.

Day 5- 27th November, 2013 INDUSTRIAL VISIT & DEPART DUBAI


Today we were waked up early for our another Industrial visit to R.A.K ceramics. It is the worlds largest ceramic company. It was a 90 miles drive from our hotel. We interacted with the employees over there and the workers working in the factory. We visited there factory and saw how the tiles were made. After that we proceeded to a hotel, had our lunch and left for our last minute shopping to gold souq. And then we went back to hotel and transferred to the airport to board our flight back home with sweet memories of the tour. And our beautiful journey took an end. It was an incredible experience.
