Message from Pastor Reid

Gods Choice and Call of the Unlikely
Gods methods of accomplishing His purposes are at times different from what is expected. This is certainly true of those recorded in scripture who God worked through in His divine plan. Moses was slow of speech, but yet spoke to the most powerful person on the earth. Paul was an enemy of the church, but God got his attention and used him to advance the Gospel in a powerful way. The disciples were fishermen, men who knew a trade or craft, a tax collectorordinary men in every way. Yet they were used by God to begin the church that has been going strong for over 2,000 years. All of these and many other people, ordinary and common, have been participants in the advancement of Gods kingdom. The world may have called them unqualified. But God does not call the qualifiedHe qualifies those He calls!! Consider 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 Think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised thingsand the things that are not; to nullify the things that are so that no one can boast before Him. It is because of God you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from Godthat is our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. You are a precious possession of our Lord. Cheering You On!! Pastor Reid He has a great plan for your life.
