The corruption on our education system has been increasing over the years. As stated earlier in the text corruption can be in several different forms. There are also many reasons why the education system can be corrupt. As stated by (Rumyantseva, N. L pg. 82) corruption is the abuse of authority for material gain. Corruption can appear in many different ways; there can be corruption in order to gain some sort of materialistic thing such as money, tickets, and other materialistic things. In (Sean Coughlan, 2013) the article talks about how corruption is a very serious issue and undermines schools. As stated in his article there are different types of corruption which are to accept bribes which is money in order to be accepted to a school or even get a passing grade. There is also a graduate tail which is basically degree mills that produce fake degrees. These mills provide degrees to people who are not qualified to do certain jobs but acquire these qualifications with these bogus degrees( Chris Parr, 2013). As stated in the article by (Sean Coughlan) this can be a very dangerous thing in our society for the reason that employers are giving jobs to certain people who are not even qualified in the field they are currently in.
