HEALING AND KEEPING PRAYER HEALING MASS

Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you

for sending your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save
and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain
and restore me.
Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands.
For I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body,
soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of your
Son, our Lord Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles
of my feet. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Root out
any unhealthy and abnormal cells and multiply my healthy cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish
any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any
infection by the power of Jesus' precious blood. Let the fire of
your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and to
make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the
way you created it to function. Thouch also my mind and my
emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart. Saturate my
entire being with your presence, love, joy and peace and draw
me ever closer to you every moment of my life.
And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower
me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to
your holy name.
I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

As we prepare to celebrate the mystery of Christ’s love, let us
acknowledge our failures and ask the Lord for pardon and
strength.
I confess to almighty God, and to you my brothers and
sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault in my
thoughts and in my words, and in what I have done, and in
what I have failed to do, and I ask the blessed Mary ever
virgin, all the angels and saints, and you my brothers and
sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
May the almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins,

Lord, in this Eucharist we pass from death to life. Keep us from

A reading from the book of Wisdom
They who said among themselves, thinking not aright: "Brief
and troublous is our lifetime; neither is there any remedy for
man's dying, nor is anyone known to have come back from the
nether world. Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious
to us; he sets himself against our doings, Reproaches us for
transgressions of the law and charges us with violations of our
training.
He professes to have knowledge of God and styles himself a
child of the LORD. To us he is the censure of our thoughts;
merely to see him is a hardship for us, Because his life is not like
other men's, and different are his ways.
He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from
things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts
that God is his Father.
Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will
happen to him. For if the just one be the son of God, he will
defend him and deliver him from the hand of his foes.
With revilement and torture let us put him to the test that we
may have proof of his gentleness and try his patience.
Let us condemn him to a shameful death; for according to his
own words, God will take care of him."

Preface

Profession of Faith
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and
earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was
conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin
Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and
was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose
again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand
of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of
the body and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Prayer of the Faithful
Today’s Word of God reminds us of the indispensable role of
Jesus in our lives and of our duty to live as “children of light.”
Aware of our weakness, let us ask the help of God’s grace for
ourselves and all those dear to us. Let our response be:
Lord, strengthen in us the light of faith.
For the Universal Church, God’s family on earth: May she
faithfully accomplish her mission of being “the light of all nations”
by her faithfulness to the teaching of Christ. Let us pray to the
Lord. Lord, strengthen in us the light of faith.
 For the Holy Father, our Bishops, and parish priests: May
their good example be constantly our inspiration and
encouragement in a society steeped in all kinds of moral
perversion. Let us pray to the Lord. Lord, strengthen in us the

For all parents and educators: May they edify their children
and students with their good example and strengthen them with
their brave condemnation of all aberrations in our society. Let us
pray to the Lord. Lord, strengthen in us the light of faith.
For our youth and all those who dream of a better world: May
they realize that their aspiration can become a reality only by
remaining faithful to the Gospel of Christ. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, strengthen in us the light of faith.
For all of us and those commended to our prayer: May we all
reject “the vain deeds of darkness” and constantly live in the
splendor of God’s presence. Let us pray to the Lord. Lord,

Lord Jesus, you are the light of the world. You are the light of
