Change of Pattern One more important aspect of Jee is change of pattern of the exam. Change of pattern of the exam is very important to select the scoring subjects. In IIT JEE 2007, there was change on exam pattern. Assertion and reasoning based questions were introduced in place of the subject type questions. There was no change of pattern in 2008 exam but there were introduced again. There were 8 subjective questions in paper II. After a long time more than one choice correct type questions with negative marking were introduced. This will eliminate students who do guess work in the paper.
