Information about the class: There are 21 teenager learners in the class. They have two one-hour lessons every week as part of their school curriculum. I have been teaching them English for nearly a year. They use a school English coursebook which has a structural syllabus. The coursebook is very clear, useful and has enough authentic material. The learners have recently learned vocabulary related to describing people s physical appearance and personality. Therefore, this lesson will be revision and retaining of knowledge. Main aim: To review and deepen vocabulary related to physical appearance and to provide practice of the having something done structure. Subsidiary aim: To practice reading for gist and for detail. To practice speaking. Personal aim: To reduce teacher talking time and to encourage learners to e!press their point of view and thus improving their speaking skills.
