• B. M. C. ( Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai ) India.
It was a Rehabilitation of Mumbai Sewer Line by Lining and Coating Method for
M.C.G.M. Using Sand Cored under ground GRP pipes.
One – piece with Socket – Spigot joint & Inline joint. Manufactured 8500 mtrs. Of Sewerage
pipeline successfully completed the pipe production in 16 months. Size circular up to 6 feet
and Egg shape up to 9 feet X 6 feet. Average Thickness 30mm. Under the Quality check
supervision by TTI Consultants - Australia.

Design Skills: Design of the Tanks, Pipes and Fittings, Process Plant Equipments as per the BS
4994 from the Hydrostatic head to the full vacuum. Design of the complete fume exhaust
system for the Pickling Plants, Acid Processing plants.
Design of the Sand cored GRP underground pipes for the high stiffness Class.

Responsibilities:
• Controlling of the raw material and manpower in the shop floor and at the site.
• Estimation of the M.S. sections, sheet metals, outsourced material and ACM material
required at individual site including hardware.
• Planning the material and controlling the vendor and other related activities in order to
complete the Job before the delivery dates.
• Stage wise Inspection of the Signage under the third party inspection with BVQI and SGS
to ensure the Quality of the Product.
• Packing and dispatch of the finished signage.

Being working in this organization helped me gaining knowledge in sheet metal and

vendor’s works for their various undergoing projects in the country and abraod. Details of the
assignments carried being as a part of the organization are as follows.

April 2006 - Dec 2006 : Future Pipes Industries L. L. C. (Dubai & Abu-Dhabi Plant).
Project : Dolphin Energy – Qatar
Client : JGC Corporation - Japan.

The Company is manufacturing GRP and GRE Pipes, Fittings and Spools for JGC – Corporation –
Japan . for their Dolphin Energy Project. It was a Gas Pipe Line Project in RLIC - Qatar.

Responsibilities:
• Review of Quality Assurance Procedure & Plan.
• Witness and review Destructive testing such as LOI,Water absorption Test, Moisture
content, and Degree of Curing ( Tg. Value ) as specified in the Quality Assurance Procedure
& Plan.
• Inspection of the raw materials procured for the project is as per the specification and
drawings and as per the Project requirement.
• Review of the documents and verification along with the MTC.
• Visual Inspection of the Fittings and Spools for any defects either on internal or external
surface.
• Dimensional check as per the Approved drawings ( AFC ).
• Witnessing Hydrostatic Pressure test for the pipes as per the different Piping specification
of different sizes.
• Reporting to the client about the Inspections carried out at the Vendor’s place.
• Releasing the Inspection Release Note as per the Client’s requirements.
• Maintaining complete documentation of the related quality documents for each and every
Pipes and Fittings, along with raw materials and associated Lab test records, with complete
traceability.
• Conforming the dispatch of the outgoing finished Fittings.
• Reviewing the MRB for Released items, to have the complete traceability from raw
material to Final Inspection Release Note.
• Expediting the percentage completion of the purchase orders / project on weekly basis.

Client : Reliance Petroleum Marketing Pvt. Ltd.

The Company was manufacturing GRP underground fuel storage tanks for Reliance Petroleum
Marketing Pvt. Ltd. For their upcoming Retail Outlet all over India.

Responsibilities:
• Visual Inspection of the tanks for any defects either on internal or external surface.
• Dimensional check as per the approved drawings from the design consultant.
• Witnessing Vacuum test and Pressure test for the tank as per specification for different
sizes.
• Witnessing for the Vacuum or Pressure drop or Leakage during the testing.
• Expediting of the production, inspection, and site wise dispatch status of the various
capacity tanks and daily reporting to the client about the same for the project.
• Controlling the dispatch of the outgoing finished tanks.

Working in this company gained me the experience of Inspection Engineer, coordinating with QC
department and client on daily basis. Making me capable by improving my ability to work in an
ISO 9001 Company and gaining complete knowledge in complete QC documentations.

The Company is having business in Engineering and Construction, Infrastructure development for
their various Clients across the globe.

Project : Ras Laffan Common Cooling Sea Water Facility Phase II. in RLIC – Qatar.
Client : Qatar Petroleum.

Ras Laffan Common Cooling Seawater System Phase II is a development being undertaken by
Qatar Petroleum for providing cooling water to the industries located in Ras Laffan City – Qatar.

The cooling seawater will be pressurized / pumped to required battery limit pressure ( 6 bar ) for
distribution to consumer industries through supply pipelines. The return of the seawater is
comprises of pipelines forming common headers which are connected to the end users. The
return cooling water pipes discharge into the receiving basin structure. These Pipe lines include
sizes from 50 mm DN to 4000mm DN GRP and GRE Pipes, Fittings & Spools.

Responsibilities :
• Receipt inspection of incoming Materials with QP as per applicable ITP, Drawings and
Project specifications.
• Verification of Material Test Certificates, Third party Inspection Release Notes and
Inspection Reports and, FAT ( Factory Acceptance Test reports ), with respect to approved
Technical data sheets, and purchase order.
• Coordination with Material Controller and QA for supporting documents.
• Report non-conformances to the QAE and follow up for corrective action.
• Physical Inspection of Materials like CS, SS grade pipes, fittings, flanges, Gaskets, Manual
operated valves, Motor operated valves, MS plates, Structural steel, pipes supports,
fasteners EOT Cranes and other bulk materials.
• Visual Inspection of the GRP and GRE Pipes, Fittings and Spools receiving at site for any
defects either on internal or external surface, damages during transit.
• Verifying Dimensions as per the approved drawings.
• Raise RFI to QP for receipt inspection clearance.
• Carrying out the inspection with Client ( Qatar Petroleum ) for the receiving GRP Pipes
and Fittings at site for their final Acceptance.
• Maintain Status of incoming receipt material and their inspections in line with the priority
for the project work.

Working in this company gained me the experience of Inspection and QC activities


along with coordinating with sub-contractor’s QC department and dealing with client on
daily basis. Making me complete compatibility with QC procedures by improving my

PERMA -PIPE INDIA PVT LTD. Is an engineering company specialized in designing and supplying
complete insulated piping systems to meet the specific requirements of the district Cooling, for Oil
& Gas industries, set up their plant in Mundra, in collaboration with Jindal Saw Limited.

Project : Barmer to Salaya Pipe Line for Crude Oil. (BSPL)
Client : Cairns Energy India Pvt. Ltd.

BSPL is approximately 580 KM Crude Oil pipe line from Barmer to Salaya to be laid by Cairn
Energy India for which MS pipe are insulated by coating it with PU ( foam ) and jacketed with
HDPE in order to prevent the heat loss of the crude Oil, to be transported form Barmer to Salaya
is done by PERMAPIPE INDIA at Mundra - Gujarat.

Responsibilities :
• Physical Inspection of the Pipe and Bend surface , and its coating before insulaton.
• Coordinate for Non Destructive examination of weld of Pipe & Bends for RT, UT, & MT
and pressure tests in accordance with approved procedures and QC plans of the pipes
before insulation.
• Interpretations of Weld drawings, weld symbols and Radiographic Films.
• Maintenance of comprehensive inspection reports.
• In-process inspection of different grades of PU insulation and HDPE jacketing on 24” M.S.
Pipe and Bends.
• Controlling the process parameters such as heating temperature, Mixing ratio of the
Chemicals (Polyol and ISO) during the insulation.
• Confirming of the thickness (OD) and insulation length of the insulated pipes within the
specified limits.
• Visual inspection of the insulation for any surface defects and any internal defects like air
pockets / air entrapments during the insulation.
• Reporting non-conformances to the QAE and follow up for corrective action.
• Verifying Final Dimensions as per the approved drawings.
• Visual Inspection of the insulated and Jacketed Pipes and Bends for any process defects on
the external surface like wrinkles, Air bubbles, handling damages.
• Carrying out the inspection with Third Party Inspector from GEIL for the final acceptance of
the pipes and Bends.
• Attending the site complaints if raised by the Client for repair / rectification of the Pipes &
Bends at the site.

Working in this company gained me the experience of in – plant Inspection activities,


Making me complete compatibility with in process QA / QC procedures by improving my
ability to work in an ISO 9001 Company.
