Introduction
The Performance Management System envisages evaluation of Technical/Functional competencies of the executive annually. This document has been prepared through a series of interactive workshops with the executives in Ramagundam. Thereafter verified by executives at Singrauli, Rihand and Vindhyachal. This document is to be used as a reference directory to identify competencies required for the effective discharge of various roles and functions within a plant/project. However, roles, responsibilities and structures may vary from plant to plant and from time to time. If roles have been merged or structured differently from what is shown in this document, competencies have to be chosen accordingly to reflect technical/function skills required for discharge of such merged or differently structured responsibilities. At the beginning of the assessment year during the Performance Planning phase, the executive and the reporting officer should refer to this document to identify functional/technical as well as cross-functional competencies most relevant to the executives position and complete Part IIA of the PMS form.
