Introduction Crimes happen all around the world, sometimes they are solved and some others arent. There are special people trained to solve this cases with specific equipment and methods. There needs to be a team to solve this cases, for example: scientifics, investigators, police, etc. Scientists are the ones that see how the body was treated, how the person died, small evidence that remains in the body of the victim that tells sort of what happened. n this case, theres a double personality !iller. "ouble personality means that a person has two personalities that act different, have different characteristics and ideas. #ormally people with this disorder have it because they had a troubled childhood or something traumati$ing. %e are going to solve it by doing some fingerprint exams. &veryone has different fingerprints and each one of them is different, it is your identification. Hypothesis f we can create a crime scene of our own Then we study the correct ways to solve the crime, we will solve it 'ecause we !new how to solve the crime and followed the right steps to solve it. Materials (our laptops (our )papel cascar*n+ posters (our sheets of paper ,ne printer Two glue tubes Two pencils (our noteboo!s Tape #esqui! Chocolate dust ,ne eraser ,ne pac!age of Sharpies ,ne plastic bag Two Scissors Procedure 1. Watched Criminal Minds: Season 4: Episode 20 - Conflicted 2. Take notes and do a summary on the episode, based our project around this episode but changed some things. 3. Write a paper describing the plot of your case, the procedure, the objective, the hypothesis, the question, introduction, results and conclusion. 4. Buy four papel cascarn posters 5. Placed them in a row 6. Start to design it. 7. Later, print the information 8. Paste it on the poster 9. Print some pictures 10. Paste them on the poster 11. Put your finger in Nesquick Chocolate dust 12. Remove it from the Chocolate

13. Put it on a piece of tape 14. Your fingerprints are done 15. Write a Lab Draft 16. Use it as a base to write the lab report. Results -fter getting the finger prints, we noticed that it was a really easy procedure. -t the beginning we thought that it was going to be really difficult. t helped us understand the importance of fingerprints during a crime scene. The fingerprints can help get a crime solved and also save someone. n the episode of Criminal .inds that we watched there was this guy who had double personality and he was raping men, after the detectives got his fingerprints, they could arrest him and ta!e him to a mental institution. %hen you see that in the T./. you thin! it is 0ust a 0o!e, but in reality it is very important. 1nowing how to get fingerprints, at least with chocolate dust is a really intersesting and fun way to get it done because it could help you in the future.

Discussion One of the many things science does is solve crimes. This scince is called foresnic science. Sciencetifics fields like pathologists, psychologists, botanistsanthropologists and many doctors. These study things such as diseases, humans, our minds and other parts of our bodies. They all compare the DNA results they get, investigating bullet impact, soil evidence, etc. Chemistry shows us how chemical reactions take place so in a Crime Scen Investigation case it shows us how and when the crime took place. It helps us gather evidence that can either show that someone was at the crime scene or it could be proof wthat something happened in the crime scene.

Conclusion In order to complete this lab we had to use our imagination a lot. First we thought about what type of crime scene we would have to investigate about and how to solve that type of crime. Once we decided what the crime would be, we could study the ways to solve it and when we new exactly what to do we then could use the right procedure solve the crime that was committed. Then we used the method to get finger prints to experiment what that would be like in a crime scene, it helped us understand the procedure of the crime scene and it gave us a little taste of what finding a pice of evidence would be like.
