03rd of November 11th of November 2013 Kratovo, MACEDONIA

With the support of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Union

About the project:

Sustainopreneurship Think global, act local will be realized in the frame of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission and will bring together activists, volunteers, youth leaders and youth workers to discuss the meaning of Sustainable Development and its entrepreneurial perspective, possible ways of implementing global best practice examples on a local level and to come up creative and innovative approaches, ideas and support for practitioners in this field. Concretely the TC will set the basis for the implementation of compulsory follow-up events, organized by the future partner organizations (e.g. as Youth Initiatives/Youth Exchanges/Think Tanks) as so called Sustainopreneurships in each of the partners countries.

Profile of the Participants

The TC is designed for ACTIVE youth workers/youth leader, staff from youth centres, youth councils, staff from start-up centers, business incubators and trainers for innovatively addressing community needs with a combination of entrepreneurial practices and social purposes in the forprofit, non-profit and governmental sector. In this regard the TC will support the participants to exchange experiences, to gain skills and knowledge in the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship education and develop strategies in fostering creative, independent, non-traditional ways of thinking and acting in business and employment prospects for youth in their communities, so they have the power to change lives by channeling their passions into entrepreneurial solutions to social problems.
