God provided for His Sons protection and His Son has provided gift of salvation we are all offered protection from sin and its evil. Psalm 91:11, God will command His angels to protect you wherever you go.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

Jesus was born in Bethlehem just like prophets had said it would happen. For years wisemen had been watching the stars for signs of the coming of the Promised Savior of the world. Jesus was almost 2 years old now and the wisemen had followed the star to Bethlehem. They asked if anyone knew about the baby king, but no one knew or could help them to find Him. Soon the king, Herod, heard about the wisemens search and was afraid that this baby king might grow up and take his place as king. He had an evil plan. He invited the wisemen to his castle to question them and pretended that he also wanted to find this baby king and worship him. The truth is that he wanted to find the baby only to kill him, but God had a plan to keep His Son safe. After the wisemen found Baby Jesus and worshiped Him they were warned by God in a dream not to go back and tell Herod where the baby was. Joseph was also warned by God in a dream to get Mary and the baby up and escape to Egypt. Jesus was saved from Herod by Gods power so He could save you and me from the power of sin and its evils.
