PRODUCT PROJECT REPORT

Dear Students, The Product Project Report is to be conducted and submitted for the partial fulfillment of the requirement of the BBA (SEM-V) course of the Saurashtra University. The main objective of this project report is to make you learn about various factors that should be taken into consideration before setting up an industry. In other words, it is purely. Entrepreneurship development & training for the establishment of small-scale industry. This project work should be genuine, original and up to the level of a BBA (SEM-V). In the precise sense, a product is a specific activity on which money is spent in the expectation of returns. There is therefore a specific starting point and a specific end point and it is intended to achieve a specific objective. In additions project has a specific geographic location and would serve a group of population. The project will have specific authority to implement it. Every project has three basic attributes: input characteristics, output characteristics and the social cost benefit characteristics. The input characteristics define what the project will consume. Projects require raw materials, energy, manpower, financial resources and an organizational set up as inputs. In order to make the input characteristics of project clear, it is necessary to evaluate the nature as well as the magnitude of each of these essential inputs. The output characteristics of a project define what the project will generate. The project output may take the shape of production of additional goods. On the other hand, the project output may be in the form of provision of additional services. In either case, it is essential to have a broad idea quantitative as well as qualitative of the .project outputs. It also becomes necessary in case of quantifiable projects to assess the financial outputs which the project will generate. Input and output characteristics of a project define the impact of the project on the project implementing body and the environment. Every project, however, has a social cost-benefit aspect. It inevitably affects the current equilibrium of the availabilities and non-availabilities in an economy and thus involves the entire society in its implications. The sacrifice which the society will be called upon to make and the benefits which will accrue to the society have therefore to be carefully evaluated.
