HR Preparation
GD sessions Interview Preparation To address these concerns we are organizing some sessions. Details about these sessions have been provided in this presentation.

1.

Presentations by Students
Firstly, all the students will be divided into 3 groups:, Structures, Flight Mechanics & Aerodynamics + Propulsion. Each group will be asked to nominate one person as group representative. Every week each group will be given certain topics on which a few students from that group will have to give a presentation to the entire batch (sitting in placements).

Topics will be decided by the DPCs & student representative from each group after consulting with seniors from previous batches (already placed) about the essential topics which need to paid emphasis on.
The presentations do not have to be too Technical, only the basics and important concepts in those topics which the companies emphasize upon.

Benefits

We will be covering all the important topics in these sessions which will help each of you in your preparation.
Certain topics which are a part of Mechanical Engineering curriculum but not there in Aerospace Engineering will also be covered (e.g. Heat & Mass Transfer etc.). These will help you to some extent in improvising your communication skills.

Last Date: 19th August 2012 (Sunday) Every student who registers for this has to ensure his presence & active participation for all the presentations.

Mock Tests
For your self evaluation we will be organizing a couple of mock tests on weekends. Through these tests you can checkout which are the areas where you need to pay more attention and prepare accordingly.

3.

Mock Interviews
We will prepare a question bank of questions that are useful for interviews by taking help from professors and other sources. These will include not only questions from your field of interest but also other general aptitude based questions and other areas. Towards the end of October we will conduct mock interviews for the department where your preparation will be again evaluated.

GD Sessions & HR interview

SPO will organize mock GD and interview sessions where you need to participate to evaluate yourselves in these fronts.

Important

Those interested in finance sector must make sure to register for the lecture and test series being organized by SPO through Career launcher. We will not be organizing much Departmental sessions in these areas. So you need to make sure to participate in the activities being organized by the SPO.
