Goals
The course provides students with an overview on the capabilities of SAP HANA, its concepts and architecture, and various scenarios of using SAP HANA. It explains how to perform modeling tasks and how to create flexible analytical models based on real-time data originating from SAP ERP applications, also covering basic administrative tasks in SAP HANA Studio. An introduction to data provisioning allows students gain insight into the various techniques that are offered for SAP HANA. In order to cover the full spectrum, delegates will also learn about connectivity interfaces from SAP BusinessObjects tools such as SAP BusinessObjects Explorer, SAP BusinessObjects Analysis and SAP BusinessObjects WebIntelligence into SAP HANA for reporting purposes, in order to cover an end to end scenario.

Goals
The objective of this course is to enable students to install and operate SAP HANA autonomously. The course covers the most important tasks for the daily work of an SAP HANA administrator. Furthermore, it provides details about troubleshooting and assuring the high-availability of an SAP HANA system. This course perfectly prepares the students for different technical SAP certifications!

Audience
This course has been designed for technical consultants and administrators, who will plan, size and configure the SAP HANA database, and who will configure the different components for data provisioning and report clients. This course also covers monitoring and troubleshooting SAP HANA, tools, high-availability, backup strategies, user maintenance and lifecycle management. There are many exercises for knowledge consolidation. Every student will install his/her own SAP HANA system for practicing.
