The recent nameserver wipe out, presumably by the domain registrar revoked the direct access to the h33t.eu domain. Nobody can actually access the website with the current known domain names, because the domain cannot be resolved to the actual server where the fles has been kept. See Also: Crap! h33t.eu disappeared from the internet again? Don't be so worried, we are here to help. Just because there is no mediocre DNS mechanism to convert the domain names into an IP address, it doesn't mean you can't access it. Domain name is only the phase of words that is meant to make it easy to remember the web address - it holds the key to the IP address of the server where the fles has been stored. To test this theory, try to access the website with this IP address - http://204.16.200.51/ ? Got it? It's simple right?
So, why do we need these domain names? Simply because we can't remember all those digits for every website you have to access. It's easier to remember "sexygirl.xxx" rather than "111.00.00.11" to access your favorite "ahem!!" website.
So, how you are going to make it work? Just follow the simple steps below.
Instructions:
1. Download and install NotePad ++ (link provided below)
2. Go To C:/ (or your OS drive) > Windows > System32 > drivers > etc 3. right click on "hosts" fle and from the drop down menu select "Edit with Notepad++"
4. Add these lines at the bottom of the window
204.16.200.51 204.16.200.51 204.16.200.51 204.16.200.51
h33t.com h33t.eu www.h33t.com www.h33t.eu
5. Restart your browser if you already have opened to read this article. And try visiting h33t with any link you mentioned in your hosts fle. Things you'll need
1. NotePad ++ [Download]
Update:
I noticed that some of the users are having problem settings things up, some being not able to save the "hosts" fle because of the access permissions are not correct or some of them simply didn't followed the
tutorial correctly. Watch this video to set the "User access control" to minimal on your windows powered system.

shanker, as per your suggestion i have placed IP address in the host fle and checked h33t sites but it's not working. And when i tried to remove these IP address & save host fle it's prompting and error as "Please check if fle is already open". do advice..

Try opening the fle with administrator privilege + don't forget to turn off UAC settings on your system (Follow the steps
mentioned in the video embeded in the article above). By this time, I hope you have installed Notepad++ to make things simpler. It minimizes some steps and makes it easier for me to deliver the information that makes it easier to implement the tutorial. I don't have to explain that they have to copy the hosts fle to the desktop or open it as administrator and select notepad to open it, so that they can make the necessary changes.

You can simply fnd the hosts fle at etc/hosts on your favorite Linux distro. just edit it with root privileged using any text editor.

The web admin has restricted the access to the website. It is working fne at my end. Maybe your ISP is blocking the access. Try using the free DNS service like OpenDNS or google DNS to unblock ISP restriction and see if it helps. Hi thanks for your reply what iam getting is from vi*gi* sorry unable to display this page we have had court orders etc etc i can go the h33t.pw but i cannot search for anything in the search bar as it take is back to the eu address i did do what you said about the system 32 etc but that hasn't worked on my pc since i done this i cant download from isohunt either!!

hosts fle can be edited without using notepad++. It is a simple text fle without any extension. If you want to edit it but could not save on original location then copy the fle on your desktop. Make your changes, then save. Now move back to original location and let computer to replace original with edited one.

Yes, that's true. You can edit it without Notepad++ but adding it in the tutorial as a compulsory program, helps me minimize the effort to demonstrate the additional steps to open the fle without extension using notepad. People already getting confused with the Notepad++ , while it is the easiest way to accomplish it.
