Profile: Energetic second year BA (Hons) Tourism Management student with an exceptional track record of academic results, relevant work experience and extra-curriculum activities, consistently recognised as passionate and performance-driven. Through the use of complex concepts both theoretical and practical, I have developed a much broader knowledge of the consistently changing needs and demands of the market and the competitiveness in the industry. Experience: Bijou Wedding Venues November 2011- Present Cain Manor, Churt, Headly Down Key member of the front of house team in an exclusive 5* catering venue, delivering events for up to 200 guests. Through working at the bar I have developed cash handling skills, stock control and customer service. I have developed myself in professional terms through dealing with customers from all walks of life at a 5* standard. Additionally, I have learned how to handle complaints through working with difficult customers, again at 5* standard. Through using my own initiative, I have become a key member of staff, guiding new members of staff through their training, while simultaneously delivering a high quality experience to guests. Further skills I gained were time management, organisational skills, working under pressure and how to work in a team.

All Things Where Ltd September 2012 Present Part of the Management team, as well as a photographer and promoter for the company. Progressing from team member to management within my first year, I am now responsible for overseeing a team. My daily duties include photography, editing & watermarking, as well as website content creation & social media. As well as day to day duties, I am now responsible for managing a team, which I am also responsible for training. During the past year in this role I have further improved both my time and human resource management skills. I also assist the management team with rota writing, team building & business development.

Additional work experience gained in the Holiday Inn Food and Beverage department in November 2010 as part of my Leisure and Tourism GCSE.

Voluntary Experience: Cambodia Worked at a school teaching kids English as well as helping out the general development of the area through helping out in building a volleyball court, and contributing towards food provisions for disadvantaged families. Welcome crew Volunteering to help out with a range of duties during the new students arrival. Student life presentations Talking to students about student life in Bournemouth. Youth worker Teaching dance to children with disabilities. LEGGIT- Participating in a 48 hour challenge to get as far away from Bournemouth University as possible without spending any money, while trying to raise money for Make a Wish charity. I have developed a particular passion in the Latin lifestyle and would love to spend more time immersed in it. I very much enjoy days out where I can go to different places to participate in sightseeing, going to restaurants and relaxing with friends. I also very much enjoy creating scrapbooks with pictures and memories. In addition, I enjoy sports like Volleyball, Tennis and Dancing.
