Forum on Healthy Heart, Happy Life

Our Association has been invited to the co-organiser of the Forum on Healthy Heart, Happy Life organised by Dashun Policy Research Centre on 29 June 2013. This Forum aims to provide to the elderly people and professionals specialists' views on the subject of maintaining healthy heart conditions. The expected number of participants is 250. In December last year, we supported a similar forum at the Head Office of the Hospital Authority with the topic Prevention of Cancer & Health Preservation East Meets West Approaches. The main objective of health forums is to promote awareness of general healthcare. It will be free admission for all participants, who will be professionals or elderly people. The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr. Ko Wing-man (), will be our Guest of Honour and will deliver the keynote address at the Forum. The Guest Speakers include the well-known cardiologists Dr. Duncan Ho Hung-kwong, Dr. Alex Lee Kwok-lun and Dr. Wong Shou-pang. Other renowned Guest Speakers are the Assistant Director of Health, Dr. Regina Ching Cheuk-tuen () , the Chair Professor of Social Gerontology of Lingnan University, Prof. Alfred Chan Cheung-ming and the former Dean of Faculty of Medicine at CUHK, Dr. (Prof.) Joseph Lee Chuen-kwun .
