BODY: With circular needle, CO 90 [114, 114, 114, 117, 126] stitches.

Row 1: K 20 [26, 26, 26, 29, 33], K f&b, PM, K f&b, K 16 [22, 22, 22, 22, 22], K f&b, PM, K f&b, K28 [34, 34, 34, 34, 39], K f&b, PM, K f&b, K 16 [22, 22, 22, 22, 22], K f&b, PM, K f&b, K2. Row 2: P across. Continue increasing by ONE st on either side of each marker on every RS row (8 sts TOTAL increased), until piece measures 1.5 [1.75, 2, 2.5, 3, 3] inches from the cast on edge. st nd On next RS row: Knit to first stitch marker, put stitches between the 1 and 2 stitch markers (left sleeve) on waste yarn or stitch holder. *Before joining, CO 4 [6, 6, 8, 8, 10] sts*. Before joining, pick up and knit 4 [6, 6, 8, 8, 10] sts from the underarm the same stitches CO before joining the raglan body in the round. Place the underarm sts (divided evenly) on N1 and N4 rounds will begin with N1. Before starting sleeve count the number of stitches. Hopefully you will have approximately 36 (42, 48, 54, 60, 60) stitches on the DPNs. Adjust accordingly, if you do not, over the next 4 rows. If you do have the correct # of stitches, knit 4 rows stockinette. Decrease row: K1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. th th th th th th Work a decrease row every 7 (8 , 9 , 9 , 10 , 10 ) row 2 times more. Total stitches: 24 (36, 42, 48, 54, 54). Continue in stockinette until piece measures 4.5 (5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7) inches. Work 1 of Mistake Rib. BO using K1, P1 BO. Repeat as for Right Sleeve. COLLAR: On RS, using circular needle, pick up CO edge stitches - 90 [114, 114, 114, 117, 126] stitches. Row 1: *K1, P1* (end K1 if necessary). Row 2: K3, PM, SSK, K 14 [20, 20, 20, 20, 20], K2tog, PM, SSK, K26 [32, 32, 32, 32, 37], K2tog, PM, SSK, K 14 [20, 20, 20, 20, 20], K2tog, PM, SSK, K 19 [25, 25, 25, 28, 32]. Row 3: repeat Row 1. Row 4: K3, SM, *SSK, K to 2 sts before marker, K2tog, SM* 3 times, SSK, K to end. Repeat Rows 3 & 4 until collar measures 1" BO on WS, using K1, P1 BO BUTTON PLACKET: On the left front side (RS) of the cardigan, pick up & knit 48 [48, 60, 60, 72, 78] sts. Row 2, on WS: Sl 1 pwise, *P across* Row 3, on RS: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* Repeat Rows 2 & 3 until placket measures 1". Use a K BO on the WS. Alternately, the button placket can be worked in Mistake Rib. The pattern is written for stockinette to make sewing on the buttons easier :)

BUTTONHOLE PLACKET: On the right front side (RS) of the cardigan, pick up & knit 48 [48, 60, 60, 72, 78] sts. Row 2, on WS: *K1, P1* across Row 3, on RS: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* Row 4: *K1, P1* across Row 5: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* 0 - 3 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 2x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 2x] 7x, K1, P1 3 - 6 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 2x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 2x] 7x, K1, P1 6 - 9 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 3x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 2x, K1] 8x 9 - 12 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 3x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 2x, K1] 8x 12 - 18 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 3x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 2x, K1] 9x, P1, K1, P1 18 - 24 M: Row 6: (K1, P1) 3x, [K2TOG, YO, (K1, P1) 3x] 9x Continue as for all: Row 7: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* Row 8: *K1, P1* across Row 9: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* Row 10: *K1, P1* across Row 11: Sl 1 kwise, *knit across* BO on WS, using K1, P1 BO FINISHING: Weave in all ends.
