Erection, Testing & commissioning:

I am involved in the erection, testing & commissioning of 220 kV outdoor switchyard
& all equipments like CT, CVT, Circuit Breaker, Isolators, Power Transformers of
capacity 80 MVA, 500 kVA station auxiliary transformer, 220 kV control & relay
panels, 33 kV indoor switchboard panels, 220V & 52V battery & battery chargers,
ACDB & DCDB panels, 6000 Ltrs/hr capacity transformer oil filtration machine,82Kva
DGset,all Illumation and all substation auxiliaries.
I am now leading a dedicated team for the operation and maintenance of the
220/33kV substation.

Project Information:
220 kV Main receiving substation has 16 bays with 7 Nos. 220/34.5 kV power
transformers of capacity 80 MVA. It has total load distribution capacity of around 500
MW with power in feed from 4x500 MW captive power plant and neighboring
400/220 kV OPTCL substation. The 4x60 MVA Fe-Cr furnaces & 2*27.5 MVA Fe-Mn &
Si-MN being the major electrical load.

OTHER INFORMATIONS:
Working as technician for two-years in CENTRAL ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
COMPANY, KENDRAPARA, ORISSA a Electrical distribution Company of Gridco,
Orissa before joining in Jindal Stainless Ltd.KNIC, jajpur
During above period I have engaged in various works as:
1. Maintenance of 33/11Kv substation & its auxiliaries
2. Maintenance of Power Transformer as well as Distribution transformer
