This peninsula actually has a great deal of variety. For example we grow our own vegetables here. The temperature is adequate for the development of many crops. Gradually we have been able to become self-sufficient. Our economy is strong, too, and the circulation of our community publication is actually growing; additional customers are added each week. This area abounds in underwater marine life. The majority of our population will experience great satisfaction with the territory we have settled. But we do not have a medical clinic, and you must travel by helicopter if there is an emergency. Some settlers will find the isolation of this area difficult. In January the temperature can stay below zero for many weeks. Past the perimeter of the town the land is empty for endless miles. For the independentminded person seeking new prospects in a new environment, this area offers a unique combination of elements without comparison.

A Communitys Remarkable Experiment

The vast majority of the population of our community is a combination of experienced and professional people. Fortunately the development of our political environment has been altogether without dishonesty or complication. We take particular satisfaction in the fact that we have a remarkably comfortable society. Development has not been interrupted by any calculating intersection of secondary difficulties. Instead we have a universal jurisdiction which we vigorously maintain without interruption. Everything regarding our economy is remarkable. We have contributed to and funded beautiful and mysterious expeditions to prehistoric reservations, where the irregular but interesting observations of our experts reverberate as universal in the scientific community. Gradually we seek to create a valuable economic jurisdiction in these geographic tributaries. Actually we can create a remarkable experiment where the majority live an altogether favorable life.
