1. Pray that Gods name might be proclaimed and exalted in a mighty way in Provo. 2.

Pray that God will begin even now softening hearts of the people of Provo and making ripe the harvest there. 3. Pray that other believers, from all over, to the far reaches, will learn of the lostness of Provo and be burdened to support the ministry there. 4. Pray the Lord would inspire believers to commit to pray for His work in Provo. 5. Pray that the Lord would move believers to commit funds and resources for His work in Provo. 6. Pray that the Lord would cause more believers to join the Provo Redeemer team and seek to minister and work for His kingdom in Provo. 7. Pray that there would be unity and sweet fellowship with the other churches and believers in the area. 8. Pray that God will give the team sensitive, soft hearts, filled with the knowledge of Gods grace for the people of Provo.

9. Pray that God will give the team discernment about the needs, pains, and issues in the community of Provo. 10. Pray that God will, in His providence, carve out ways for the Provo Redeemer team to meet people and to be influential in the Provo area. Pray especially for those people who will be the neighbors, coworkers, and classmates of the team members. 11. Pray that those on the team will trust God, the Grower, to bring fruit from those seeds as He sees fit, and not be focused on results or their own efforts. 12. Pray that God will create Joshua hearts in the team members -hearts that are strong and courageous because He is with us and because His promises are true. 13. Pray that the forces of evil would shrink in fear and flee at the proclamation of the Gospel in Provo. 14. Pray for Kevin as he leads this mission -- pray for discernment, for strength and courage in ministry, for benevolent, humble leadership, for a heart completely focused on the Lord, and for a Gospel fire that encourages and inspires. 15. Pray for the college students and young adults on the team -- that their hearts might be protected from temptations, loneliness, and fatigue, and that their lives might bring the light of Christ to Utah Valley University, Brigham Young University, and the other area schools. 16. Pray for the children coming with members of our team -- that God would guard their hearts and minds, help them take joy in the mission, and protect them from evil. Also pray that God would capture their hearts at an early age. 17. Pray for the marriages of those who are going -- that they would put God first, that husbands and wives would make time for each other,

that they would love and support one another, and that they would live by Ephesians 5:22-32. 18. Pray that the Lord will help team members homes be open, loving places where He is proclaimed and His love is shared. 19. Pray that God will uniquely prepare each member of the team for the ministries ahead in the areas He would have each of them serve -teaching, evangelism, discipling, hospitality, prayer, fellowship, administration, and whatever else. 20. Pray that the Lord will bond the Redeemer Provo team together, developing deep relationships that encourage and support one another with the selfless love of Christ. 21. Pray that those ministering in Provo will depend on the Lord for everything they need and not turn to themselves, their own plans, or other people or things for fulfillment. 22. Pray that God will crucify selfishness and pride, and that He will help us recognize our poverty of spirit. 23. Pray that the team would avoid a Superman syndrome -- let each member be authentic and real - to unbelievers and to believers confessing their sins, and avoiding playing a role or putting on a good face. 24. Pray that God will reveal specific strategies in proclaiming the Gospel to Provo. 25. Pray that all the team members will find just the right jobs and/or schools to allow them to minister well in Provo. 26. Pray for the new college ministry we are to begin on the campus of UVU. Pray that the University will welcome us, and that school staff will help and not hinder this work. Pray also for openness to the Gospel among the students at UVU.

27. Pray that God will let our mission and ministry be Gospel-focused, rooted in the Word and prayer, and all for the glory of God. 28. Pray that God will help us find and fund just the right meeting facilities at just the right time. Pray God will give us the exact place to gather that will be most effective toward reaching Provo and gathering new believers. 29. Pray that the Lord will help the team now, as each person prepares to go -- that He will guide and direct decisions, that they will trust in His preparation of their hearts, that He will make smooth the path to Provo. 30. Pray that God will help the team to share His love right now, where they are, in Fort Worth and beyond, and that these experiences will help strengthen them for the work to come in Provo. 31. Pray that He will help us to love people well, but to love His pleasure alone.
