n 2002, Mr. Amit R Patel, Mr. Ketan D Patel & Mr. Alpesh S Vora laid the foundation of Smp Constructions Pvt. Ltd with sole objective of providing quality constructions to Industrial and commercial Sector. Seeing the influx of multinationals and reputed

domestic companies into Special Chemical Zone, Special Economic Zone and Surrounding Areas, they anticipated the needs of companies for reliable and trustworthy construction company. Later, under their dynamic leadership, the company has completed various reputed projects of multinationals and domestic companies. Their professional approach and business intelligence have brought significant success to the company and have increased the turnover of the company by 990% from 4.65 crores in 2002-03 to 71.06 crores in 2011-12. Mr. Amit R Patel is a meticulous professional and keeps a strict tab on scheduling and budgetary needs of a wide range of clients. Material Management
Purchase department at Bharuch handles all issues connected with procurement of capital items and procurement of all major raw materials like cement, steel(both structural and reinforced), binding wires, nails, etc. and other store items both consumables as well as non consumables for all projects. It also handles high value purchases, Rate Contracts, system development & implementation and lays down procurement policies and systems to ensure compliance of both quality and cost effectiveness. The Department also identifies alternative sources of supply and assists the Business Units in pre-tender tie-ups. Purchase Department takes care of material requirement of all the projects in their respective geographical areas including finalization of Rate Contracts, management of logistics, Regional stores and disposal of scrap / obsolete items.
