May alter results of serum AST, ALT, LDH
Be sure to teach the patient the following about this
medication:
May cause dizziness or light headedness, May cause urine
to turn dark. Report any S/S of super infections (black
furry overgrowth on tongue, loose or foul-smelling stools.

VS, appearance of urine and stool, and med? Resolution of S/S of
WBC. Monitor neurological status during Signs of super infection and change in infection
and after IV infusion. Monitor I/O and neuro signs
weight.
