you in its safe use and operation and has given permission.

Ensure that the grinding disc, guard and attachments /including handle0 are secure and correctly fitted. 1. Inspect the grinding disc for damage. 2o not use damaged grinding disc. 3. Always inspect the wor- piece to ensure that there aren4t any items which might damage the grinding wheel or cause in5ury to the operator. 6. !ecure and support the wor- piece using clamps, 7ench vices, etc.

Long and loose hair must be contained. lose fitting!protecti"e clothing must be worn. %earing protection must be worn when using this machine.

'. *. .. 1. 3. Ensure all other students are clear of the immediate wor- area. &eep fingers and hands 8 power cords clear of the grinding disc. Never ma-e ad5ustments while the angle grinder is running. 2o not switch off the angle grinder when it is under load, e+cept in an emergency. Allow angle grinder to reach operating speed 7efore applying to wor- piece 8 increase load gradually. 6. 2o not lift or drag angle grinders 7y the cord. 9. &eep fle+i7le electrical cords clear of oil, grease, machines and sources of heat. :. ;e aware of flying spar-s. %old grinder so that spar-s fly away from you, other people and flamma7le materials. <. 2o not leave the angle grinder running 8 only use the grinder when hand held. '=. 2o not touch the wor- piece immediately after grinding operation as it may 7e e+tremely hot.
