Adventures in Marks Gospel

We start a brand new series today looking at Marks Gospel. The great call that Jesus makes to us as much as the first disciples is to follow him. We are looking together at what this means and how we can respond. The entire church will be doing this together as the children and youth groups will also be studying Marks Gospel. We hope that this will generate discussion in the home as well as in church. Today, after our opening worship together, we will break into three groups: Speaking, Hearing, Doing - a discussion, a talk or craft, before regrouping for feedback and a final song

MCG Meetings
We are currently exploring the role of Missional Community Groups in the Church and two of them meet shortly to explore what this means for them. There is the potential of a men's MCG which is looking together at the implications on Wednesday 8th January at 8pm. Talk to any of the men in the Gideon or Emu cell groups if you're interested in knowing more. The Roundshaw MCG is meeting up together again on Friday 17th January at the Phoenix Centre at 6.30pm. Contact Will or Sue if you may be interested.
