We study the basic building blocks and tools that make up any industry. We are required everywhere. Endless future. Huge scope for R&D, innovation and cost cutting products. Most MNCs having design centers in India. Indian economy moving from a service provider to a product oriented market, Indian market. Government efforts to reduce electronics imports.

1st year gives the mathematical foundations

2nd year makes you strong with the basics NA,AEC,LD,S&S,CS,MC,HDL

3rd year start focusing on your stream of interest and choosing subjects- VLSI/Communication Systems/Embedded, decide on GATE.

4th year, consolidate on these fundamentals and choose a project accordingly, try for internships, present papers.

Not being sure whether you want to write GATE, just like me. Not deciding on your stream, well in advance Not being strong with the fundamentals. Again just like me. Taking your project and seminar lightly.I took it very seriously Listening to everyone around . Just like me and my friends Not using the internet properly.. Learn this secret of mine, and you will reach great heights Not reading the newspapers and English novels, sorry but I finished 12 novels in class Not concentrating on IA marks, my teachers know it better.. 35+15=50 attitude Not making notes Not going through question papers Not concentrating on true knowledge Not taking up small projects Not having good mathematics

PICOS E-Spectra
Why? What?

Advantages to you as a student?

Why Iam so interested?

What?
Department procures all the bare minimum hardware, micro-controller boards, sensors, transistors, equipments like soldering irons, Multimeter etc. Students form their own teams, under the guidance of a faculty member, they are provided with a set time and lab infrastructure to carry out their projects. Within a set time framework the project is completed successfully. Books, collection of video tutorials also in the pipeline. Mostly concentrating on NPTEL, YouTube tutorials, and project books.

Why?
Improvements in lab infrastructure as a long term investment We need something interesting to work on Our students need more exposure to such things We need to learn and compete We dont want to fall behind e-Spectra needs it

Innovation culture established in college, and E-Spectra will be the first to do something of this kind and out of the box.

Only initial investment concerns,

Scope for continuous improvements

Encouraging competition

More Student involvement,

Good things should begin from me

A worthy gift
I dont want my juniors to miss on things that I missed At least 9 will benefit

My idea
