Nexio, a member of the Softek Synergy Partner Program, proposes and delivers data migration solutions via a Services
based agreement. No Software purchase is required. Nexio can deliver limited data migration services or a full suite of
services, including: Pre-Engagement (ex: conduct a site visit and attend technical meetings); Planning & Preparation (ex: do
some data gathering and design a Client specific solution); Softek TDMF Installation, Activation, Testing and De-Installation
(after Client Acceptance); Implementation and Transfer of data / volumes; and Project Management & Coordination.

Description of the deliverables: Migration with ease

Nexio, a member of the Softek Synergy Partner Program, will
assign one or more technical resources to successfully deliver
a Client approved data migration solution. Nexio will execute
a Statement of Work. This document will list
various items, including the following:
• Scope or a summary of the engagement;
• Approach or a description of the Services to be delivered
during Pre-engagement, Planning & Preparation and Mi-
gration phases;
• A list of non-included Services, examples : any design
work,performance tuning, physical installations, initial
power-up and configuration, and creation and assigning
of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs);
• Client and Co-Provider responsibilities;

• A list of valid assumptions and prerequisites;
• Change control process; and
• Estimated Start Date, Duration and Completion criteria.
Also for the benefit of the Client and to assure a successful
engagement, Nexio will deliver the following Services:
• Do the gathering of Direct Access Storage Device (DASD)
activity and Resource Measurement Facility (RMF) data
needed to generate a new Target volume placement plan;
• Write and Execute scripts or Job Control Language (JCL);•
• Install, Activate, Test, Execute and De-Install the Softek
TDMF software and its agents;
• Execute all data / volume transfers (from Source to new

• Execute volume expansion utilities, if required; and
• Execute post-Data migration tests to assure data integrity.
