Toward A Fearanalysis

The Technical Papers # 1- 34

of R. Michael Fisher (1995–2009)

Introduction

As an independent scholar (fearologist-educator), R. Michael Fisher began in 1995 publishing

“sketchbooks” of his ideas for a radical new way of analyzing fear (and fearlessness). A few years
prior, he and his life-partner Barbara Bickel co-founded a Canadian publishing company, In
Search of Fearlessness Research Institute, to act as a vehicle for self-publishing. They have
published a few works together, but the vast majority of the Institute’s publications where these
technical papers re: his fearanalysis.

The series of technical papers will continue as long as Dr. Fisher choses to produce them and
make them available free or for a small charge. He has distributed thousands of copies of them
over the years. He felt it would be good to publish a list of them in one place that was accessible
from the Web, so here is the first installment.

ISOF (In Search of Fearlessness Logo) – was created

by R. Michael Fisher, co-founder of In Search of
Fearlessness Project (1989- ). It represents a Sacred
Warrior Shield. This version with the “planet(s)” is his
latest artistic rendering for the 21st century to mark the
global reality of the Fearlessness Movement in the face
of the growing “culture of fear” and ‘Fear’ Matrix.
