Communication Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication can be considered a process of transferring information from one person to another.

We communicate ideas, emotions, feelings, or attitudes in order to inform, convince, and impress others, to determine them to take an action or to stop them from doing something we dont want them to do. So the main goal of the communications act is to create a link by sharing and understanding a message. In order to achieve this goal, we need to have a few basic elements implicated, such as: a sender, a communication channel and a receiver. he sender is the one who sends a message through a communication channel to a receiver who understands it. ! communication channel is a way in which the sender and receiver communicate to each other and depends on the form of communication, for e"ample, if we have a verbal communication, we will have an acoustic channel, if the communication is written, then the channel will be visual. his process, although apparently simple, can become a #uite complicated one because a misunderstanding can occur at any stage of the communication process. In order to have an efficient and appropriate communication process, we need to have an effective communication, which means finding a way to minimi$e potential misunderstanding and overcome the barriers that can occur. !n effective communicator understands their audience, chooses an appropriate communication channel, encodes the message in a way that minimi$es misunderstandings and asks for feedback in order to correct the message if the audience have decoded it wrong. he successful encoding is an important skill in effective communication and this involves an appropriate use of the language, knowing the receivers e"perience in decoding similar communications and adapting the communication style in order to obtain a simple and clear message. !t the same time, decoding a message is also a very important skill for an effective communication, and this depends on receivers e"perience and ability of understanding the conte"t. Sometimes a message can be better understood if the receiver pays attention to senders para verbal %tone of the voice, micro e"pressions& and nonverbal e"pressions %gestures, bodys orientation, hands and head movements, and lack of eye contact& which can be according to the message or can contradict it. In this case we can underline a conscious way of communicating %through verbal message& and a subconscious one %through body language&.
