Taking in famous regions such as Lake Como & the Dolomites and iconic climbs such as Stelvio, Mortirolo & Zoncolan it will be the experience of a lifetime. Guests will enjoy VIP race hospitality, great touring & dining plus all the inside access afforded by travelling with a legend of cycling. Robbie will be there throughout to share his experiences in the pro peloton, update you with insider race information plus show you behind the scenes at the 2014 Giro d'Italia. Robbie will share his time between being on the bike with our rider program & touring with the non-riders plus be there when all guests enjoy many activities together. Both groups are limited to a maximum of 15 guests so ensure you secure your place now. Ride program: 23 May 2014 Guests are invited to meet with their guide team and RobIn the afternoon our guide team will fit you to your bikes and assist those bringing their own bikes with their assemRide distance: 20-30km The airport has many hotels close by and is also linked by train to central Milan should you wish to arrive earlier. Our transfer to our hotel in the stunning lakeside village of Como will take approximately one hour. Here we will enjoy a light lunch on arrival at a local restaurant we know in the historic centre. During your first Italian pizza or bowl of pasta you will hear from your guide team as they outline the week ahead, plus enjoy Robbie's account of the Giro racing so far. Combined program: Non rider program: bie at the Milan Malpensa International Airport at midday or earlier. The Malpensa airport is convenientaly linked to all major hubs in Europe with regular flights, and also to many international ports such as Singapore, Dubai, NY and more.

Maglia Rosa Tour - Giro dItalia bly. From here we will enjoy a casual group ride along the shores of Lake Como. Our circuit will take us alongside the holiday homes of Italy's rich and famous and many global identities as we skirt the lake's edge. Our mechanic and guides will be on hand to make any bike adjustments that you may require.

During the afternoon you will be taken for a guided walk of Como. Here you will learn from our local guide about the history of the city, plus enjoy stunning views of the lake and mountains beyond.

With the Giro d'Italia being battled out to our West, we will be certain to find a local caf to enjoy the closing stages of the day's race. The chance to enjoy a Peroni by Lake Como, watching the Giro live amongst locals, having just been for a stunning ride is a great way to start the tour! In the evening we will enjoy dinner as a group at a traditional Italian trattoria. Each evening the group will hear from the guide team about the following day's activities and from Robbie on the happenings in the race and what it means for the overall contenders, and your favourite riders.

ITINERARY
24 May 2014 Each morning guests will enjoy a buffet breakfast at their hotel. Rider program: Our ride group will start from our hotel as we trace the shores of Lake Como to the historic village of Bellagio. You will be amazed by the beauty of this coast and the amazing homes that line the lake. On reaching Bellagio we will take time out for an espresso or two at a caf on the lake front. There is nothing like an Italian coffee on the shores of Lake Como. From here we will take the traditional climb to Ghisallo that is used regularly in the Giro di Lombardia, or the race of the falling leaves. At the top of the climb is the famous chapel of Ghisallo and one of the world's best cycling museums. The Madonna del Ghisallo is the patroness of cyclists. The chapel itself is home to some great cycling memorabilia, whilst the museum contains the pink jerseys of the Giro d'Italia, classic bikes from years gone by and much more. Following time to enjoy the museum and lunch at leisure, our ride will continue across the ridge top back to Como. The road we will take is very light on traffic and affords incredible views. In the evening, guests will have the opportunity to dine at Non rider program: On this day you will enjoy the beauty of the region plus be leisure in Como. Your guides and the hotel staff will be there to assist with recommendations and reservations Combined program: Following our return, guests will have the choice to relax by the hotel pool, explore the city or join your guide team to watch the stage to Oropa in the Italian Alps. As it will be a mountain top finish, on what is a relatively short stage, the racing will be intense. Rider program: From here we will encourage the riders as they challenge themselves on the 10km climb up to Ghisallo. In Ghisallo the group will enjoy the chance to explore the chapel and museum in what is one of the best presented and most interesting museums of its kind. 25 May 2014 there to support the riders. We will enjoy a drive along the lake's edge to the village of Bellagio where you will enjoy a coffee break with the riders on the lake's edge in what is one of the wealthiest villages in Italy. Overnight: Hotel Como, Lake Como

Following breakfast and check-out at the hotel, we will transfer by road towards our new hotel in the heart of the mountains of Northern Italy.

On reaching Tirano, your bikes will be readied for your attack on one of the most challenging climbs in any Grand Tour, the famous Mortirolo. We will follow the valley floor to the village of Mazzo, giving you a chance to warm the legs up before we then turn upwards. The Mortirolo can be climbed from three sides, with the climb from Mazzo being the most challenging. As with all our rides, your guide team will be on-hand as will our support vehicles should you need assistance. Along the way you will see the tribute to the Italian favourite, Marco Pantani, plus the names of the riders on the road that still remain from recent Giro races. On arriving at the summit, you will be extremely satisfied in conquering what many describe as the hardest climb of any grand tour. Robbie will be sure to have many stories for you as well of the challenges for sprinters when it

comes to the big climbs & beating the cut-off times set by the race organisers. From here we will descend down to Grosio for our ride along the valley floor to Bormio. We'll be sure to stop to refuel with a coffee on the way plus some local pastries and sandwiches. Rider program:

Maglia Rosa Tour - Giro dItalia On this day we will be offering two ride options. In the morning guests will be invited to challenge themselves on the climb to the Passo Gavia. This famous climb will be encountered by the pros the following day from the other side as they climb from the stage start in Ponte di Legno. The climb up to 2621m is an incredible ride. You will follow the valley floor, then climb up through pine forests before Combined program: In the evening we will enjoy dinner at our fabulous hotel. After our first big climb of the tour, it will be great to hear the stories of everybody's experiences. With the Giro heading in to its final rest day, Robbie will share with you inside information on what the teams do during this time to recover in preparation for what will be an incredible final week of racing. Ride distance: 60km Our ride will then take us back the way we came to Bormio and the chance to enjoy lunch in the village or at the hotel. In the afternoon we will be offering an easier ride to the the road opens out to a moonscape appearance that is sure to still have snow in many parts. At the top we will enjoy a rest at the caf that is home to some great photos of past races and is also a good chance to pick up some memorabilia.

Non rider program: We will enjoy a leisurely transfer to Bormio where you will enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Our hotel is home to one of the oldest spa facilities in Europe with thermal baths dating back to Roman times. Here you will have the chance to enjoy an afternoon at the spa, or alternatively enjoy the opportunity to explore the beautiful village of Bormio with its magnificent architecture and frescoes.

Climbs: Mortirolo Overnight: Hotel Bagni Vecchi, Bormio 26 May 2014: The atmosphere will be building in Bormio on this day as the village prepares itself for the arrival of the Giro d'Italia. Being at the base of Stelvio, Mortirolo, Gavia, Cancano and more, Bormio is a hub for cycling in Italy. The village comes alive for the race with the whole town turning pink!

ITINERARY
alpine lake of Cancano. The climb is one of the most beautiful in the region as it is a series of incredible switch-backs that make their way up the steep face. With each turn folding back parallel, the road itself is not particularly steep and offers a great afternoon ride after the more challenging Gavia. Guests are welcome to enjoy a rest day, ride either or both of the options. In the evening we will take you to our favourite pizzeria in Non rider program: Near to Bormio is the Swiss border and the famous alpine train, the Bernina Express. Our non riding guests will enjoy a day on one of the world's great train journeys. Ride distance: Morning ride: 60km, Afternoon ride: 35km Climbs: Gavia & Cancano Overnight: Hotel Bagni Vecchi, Bormio 27 May 2014 On this day the race will take on 3 incredible climbs in what is certain to have a big impact on the overall chances of many riders. The Gavia awaits riders early in the stage so any rider that became too relaxed on the rest day could get found out early. Rider program: We will ride directly from the hotel, taking on the incredible climb of the Passo dello Stelvio just hours ahead of the From Tirano, we will take the train across in to neighbouring Switzerland to the famous village of St Moritz. The train journey will take you through spectacular scenery as pro-race. Here you will be cheered on by local and international fans alike who have stationed themselves on what is one of the most scenic climbs in world cycling. Bormio. Here you will have the chance to enjoy some great food and local wines. In St Moritz, guests will enjoy time at leisure to explore the city, take advantage of the designer label shopping and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon our train journey will then take us back to Tirano for our return to Bormio. Combined program: you cross the Bernina pass. Along the way you see alpine waterfalls, glaciers and incredible views.

Maglia Rosa Tour - Giro dItalia With the support of our race accredited vehicles and guides, we will climb to the top from where we will watch the race. For anybody looking for an extra challenge, we will be offering the option of an early start for anyone that wishes to ride both faces of the Stelvio before the race's arrival!

Atop the Stelvio is a number of restaurants and some great memorabilia options. Here we will enjoy the incredible atmosphere and the chance to witness the Giro live. As our support vehicles will be on-hand we will be able to ensure you have all the warm clothes you need as it can be cold on the top and for the later descent. Guests will enjoy cheering the riders as they come across the pass. The race will be spread out with the climbers looking to gain valuable time and the sprinters doing their best to stay inside the cut-off time. You will also see the riders rush to put on their wind breakers or stuff a newspa-

per inside their jersey in preparation for the descent. Following the passing of the race we will then descend in the same direction as the pros to village of Prato at the bottom. The descent is a beautiful road that winds for over 20km to the valley floor. Our support vehicles are there also should anybody wish to give the ride down a miss. Rider program: Non rider program: On this day you will share the excitement of the race with the rider group. In our race accredited support vehicles, we will transfer you on the race route to the top of the Stelvio Pass. Here you will enjoy the passing of the race with the rider group and thousands of international fans who have been camped there for days or ridden up earlier. Combined program: Following the day's race activities we will transfer by vehicle to our hotel located in the valley that lies between Verona and the Austrian border. Our hotel is located close to the small city of Bolzano and is surrounded by vineyards. In the evening we will enjoy dinner at the hotel and the chance to share stories of our first encounter with the 2014 Giro d'Italia and climbing the famouse Passo dello Stelvio. Departing directly from the hotel we will climb up to the start village of Sarnonico. Our ride route takes us via one of the most beautiful climbs of the region, the Passo Mendola. The climb is a lot like Alpe d'Huez as it is a series of switch 28 May 2014: This region of Italy was until the end of the second world war part of Austria. Now it is a fantastic blend of the Italian, Austrian and traditional 'Ladin' cultures. In many villages here you will hear more German and Ladin spoken than Italian. Combined program:

Maglia Rosa Tour - Giro dItalia backs where from certain vantage points you can see back down to the turns you have conquered. After guests enjoy the departure of the stage, we will then return to the bikes for a ride to a nearby winery.

At the start village, guests will have the chance to soak up the atmosphere as the town welcomes the riders. Here you will be able to see the riders arrive, sign in and be interviewed, and then all the colour and excitement as the race gets underway. Being there with Robbie McEwen will give you a great chance to meet riders and team officials as they go through final preparations. You will also receive last minute insider info on stage tactics and expectations. In the afternoon, guests will visit a local winery where you will enjoy a guided tour of the winery and cellars, followed by wine tasting and finger food. The local area specialises in white wines that are typically grown on the steep hillsides with incredible terracing. During the afternoon we will enjoy the stage finish live on

Ride distance: Morning ride: 37km, Afternoon ride: 46km Climbs: Passo Mendola Overnight: Hotel Eberle, Bolzano 29 May 2014 The 2014 Giro d'Italia is back to the mountains on what will be an explosive stage. The steep gradients to the finish will pose a strong chance for a climber such as Quintana to take precious seconds ahead of the final few days of racing. Rider program: Guests will have the choice of a longer ride, departing directly from the hotel and following the valley to Trento, or a shorter ride that starts in Trento. From here we will intercept the day's race route and climb the final ascent of the race. After the presentations and time to take photos, we will Under official race control we will then ride across the finish line and stand atop the podium, where only hours later Non rider program: Guests will enjoy a break from racing as we take you to visit the beautiful city of Trento and on to enjoy a visit of Lake Garda by boat. Combined program: Trento is a stunning village located in the valley and has a strong history in cycling. Here we will take time to visit the central piazza and admire the beautiful architecture. Being on one of the main trade routes, history abounds in Trento transfer to our new hotel by vehicle. Following the chance to enjoy the glory of this exclusive experience, we will then change before heading to the 'Giro Club'. Located at the finish line, you will enjoy an afternoon of food and drinks whilst watching the race come live on the television. The 'Giro Club' is the place to be seen as all the big sponsors are there along with many legends of cycling such as Mario Cipollini. Here you will experience all the excitement as the stage winner is decided right in front of the hospitality zone. Who will take the honours and will it be enough to see a change of overall leader? We will be there to witness as the presentation of the leaders' jerseys takes place. the likes of Richie Porte will stand. Following our visit of Trento we will then transfer to the lakeside village of Riva del Garda. We will enjoy a break for lunch in the village. Why not enjoy a traditional Italian sandwich or fresh fish caught by the local fisherman. After lunch, our afternoon will be spent cruising this beautiful lake by boat. Your captain will take you to visit small villages, grottes & beautiful coves. Following our afternoon cruising this beautiful lake, we will then transfer to our hotel.

The group will reunite for dinner at our new hotel. Here we will review the upcoming time trial that could decide the overall winner of the pink jersey, plus share our day's experiences.

Who will come out on top will be extremely unpredictable and big time gaps could open up in the event that somebody misjudges their effort. Non rider program: On what will be a challenging climb for our riding group, the non-riders will take on the role of team manager & coach. The group will travel in our race accredited support vehicles, providing encouragement to the riding group, barking orders and controlling their emotions! You will experience the incredible atmosphere of the climb that will be lined by thousands on this day. Combined program: On returning to the start village, with Robbie as your guide, the group will have access to the technical zone. Here you will be able to walk through the restricted area and see the riders going through their preparations. Rider program: As the official tour partner of the Giro d'Italia, we have another exclusive experience for this day. Our group will experience the course like the pros. With official race support, you will have the chance to test yourself on the climb of the pros under race-like conditions! With thousands of fans there cheering you on as they With Robbie you will check in on the teams and take the chance to chat with riders that are outside contention and are just looking to get through the TT without draining their energy ahead of the stage to Zoncolan. Rider program: Here you will have the chance to see the mechanics at work, preparing the amazing bikes. The final test for overall honours comes in the unforgiving form of the Zoncolan climb!

We will take back to the bikes for one last challenge. Like the pros who will follow us, our final climb is of the famous Zoncolan!

ITINERARY
After a transfer by vehicle we will ride the last section of the day's stage. Guests will enjoy a supported ride ahead of the race to the base of the Zoncolan. Here we will give riders the option as to how far they wish to ride up the climb given it is a tough climb with incredibly steep pitches. Guests will be able to enjoy the race from the village at the base of the climb which is sure to have an incredible atmosphere, watch the race from a steep section where the riders will really struggle or make your way to the top to see the winner crowned. Being on the Zoncolan will be a lifetime memory. The Italian crowds will be at their biggest with the winner of the coveted 'Maglia Rosa' to be decided on this day. Following the completion of the stage we will regroup at the base for our onward travel to our new hotel in Trieste. At the start village you will enjoy the chance to walk amongst the teams as they prepare, watch the riders sign in. You will enjoy Italian pastries and coffee before being there to cheer the riders as they take off in the direction of the Zoncolan. After the race departs and the chance to enjoy a break for lunch, we will transfer to the city of Udine. Here guests will enjoy a guided walking tour of the city. Udine has significant history dating back to the 13th century and its beautiful sites such as the Piazza della Libert, the Loggia del Lionello and the frescoes of Giambattista Tiepolo. Our guided tour will enjoy a pause for watching the race on television as it battles the Zoncolan to decide the overall winner of the 2014 Giro d'Italia. In the evening we will then transfer to our new hotel in the seaside city of Trieste where you will join your host for dinner at a local restaurant. Ride distance: 55-75km Climbs: Monte Zoncolan Overnight: Hotel Continentale, Trieste Combined activities: 1 June 2014: Non rider program: In the morning you will travel to the start village of the day's stage. Here you will see the nervous energy of the riders as the gear up for what will be the most important stage of the tour for most of them. After 3 weeks of incredible racing it all comes down to this.

From Ireland to Italy, over many a high pass, the Giro d'Italia and its riders have reached the final stage following 3 weeks of great moments in cycling.

Guests will be invited to have a relaxed morning in Trieste. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful streets from our central hotel or take in the esplanade and the views of the Mediterranean Sea. You will feel the excitement of the race as the city is flooded with cycling fans all enjoying the carnival atmosphere of the finish. In the afternoon guests are invited to our private grandstand located at the finish line in the heart of Trieste. Here we will enjoy the arrival of the publicity caravan, the appearance of many past pro riders and of course the all important arrival of the riders.

The riders are set to do 8 circuits of the city loop and we will be there with an uninterrupted view of the action from our incredible seats. You will see the arrival of the Maglia Rosa along with the other jersey holders, the intermediate sprint and the final sprint. Will Mark Cavendish be there again in red in 2014 or will somebody like Michael Matthews or Andre Griepel be fighting for the title? Following the race conclusion you will have the chance to seek autographs and watch the final presentation to the 2014 winners. The Giro final presentation is an incredible affair and one not to be missed! 02 June 2014 Following breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer guests to Venice Marco Polo airport for onward travel. Please do not book flights departing prior to 2pm. Should you wish to explore Italy further, Trieste is connected by regular trains to all the major centres including Venice, Rome, Milan and Florence. them individually. We structure our rides with a riding guide at the front, who goes at the pace of the faster riders and a guide at the rear who goes at the pace of the slowest rider. We will then have further guides within the group based on group numbers. In addition, our support vehicles are on the ride route with the group to assist in the situation of mechanical issues, to carry spare clothing, food, water, etc and to allow the option to shorten the ride if you wish. Depending on the timings of the race on the day and the varying speeds of the group, on some days we may choose to break for a coffee in a nice village we know to regroup, and on other days continue to ride through to our final Bike rental: Enjoy the use of a top quality Trek Madone 5.2 or Trek Domane 5.2 with compact & 12-28 gearing for the duration of your tour.
