Ephesians 6:10-20. For the last 2 days, Sunday and Monday, this verse Eph 6:12 came to my mind, and that's why I am studyin this Eph 6:1!"2! now. Spiritual war#are$

For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (RSV)

Ins spiritual war#are, we are stru lin a ainst human enemies. Spiritual war#are may involve % very di##erent types: 1& 'ulers and (uthorities, )rincipalities and )owers. 2& *orld rulers o# the +dar,.+ %& Spiritual #orces o# evil in heavenly places. )residents, )rime Ministers, -in s, Federal .overnment, State .overnment, /ocal (uthorities, and the various .overnment 0epartments may 1e ma,in and implementin policies that are contrary to the wel#are o# 1elievers. )olicies that ma,e it di##icult #or us to assem1le and worship to ether. )olicies that hinder us #rom evan eli2in . )olicies that prevent us #rom readin the 3i1le in certain lan ua es. (nd any other policies that put us 1elievers in a disadvanta e situation. 4ence, it is very important #or us 1elievers to continually pray #or our nation, pray #or our political leaders, pray #or the overnment o##icials.
1& Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. !"#) 1&

*e need to 1e spiritually stron . 5he 0evil will tempt us with many snares, temptations, trials and tri1ulations. *e need to spiritually stron , with the /ord's power and mi ht. May .od stren then us. *e also need to mentally and emotionally stron . In our wal, with .od, in this world, we will #ace many ups and downs, #at cow years and lean cow years. *e need to 1e stron to withstand the stress #rom the various tou h situations. /i#e is not a 1ed o# roses. 'emem1er .od in every situation. 5han, .od #or ood times as well as di##icult6challen in times. *e are instructed to put on the whole armor o# .od. 5his is a metaphor #or the people o# those days. 5o 1e triumphant in this spiritual war#are, we need to e7uip ourselves. *e are #acin many 0evil's schemes, which are multi"dimensional, and may include: 1& 'ulers, overnment and authorities. 2& )owers o# dar,ness. %& Spiritual #orces o# evil in heavenly places.

1/ Stand fir then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 10 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that co es fro the gospel of peace. 11 "n addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can e2tinguish all the fla ing arrows of the evil one. 13 .ake the hel et of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of )od. Armour of God consists of: 1) Belt = truth; 2) Breastplate = righteousness; 3) Shoes = readiness with gospel of peace; 4) Shield = faith; ) !elmet = sal"ation; #) Sword = word of God$
*hen attac,ed 1y the 0evil, when con#ronted with persecutions, ridicules, when tempted with temptations, when tormented 1y trials and tri1ulations, we need to 1e stron in our #aith. In tryin situation, we need to continue to 1elieve in our .od, no matter how di##icult the situation. ;o1, althou h #aced with so many di##iculties and tryin situations, did not turn away #rom .od. 5he word o# .od, the ,nowled e o1tained 1y studyin the 3i1le, is our o##ensive weapon a ainst the 0evil. *e need to well armed with +1ullets+ #rom the 3i1le. *hen we #ace di##icult situations, we remem1er what the 3i1le says, and it 1ecomes com#ort to our hearts.
17 6nd pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and re4uests. 8ith this in ind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the 'ord9s people. 1: (ray also for e, that whenever " speak, words ay be given e so that " will fearlessly ake known the ystery of the gospel, 2& for which " a an a bassador in chains. (ray that " ay declare it fearlessly, as " should. (!"V#

In spiritual war#are, prayer is very important. (#ter puttin on the whole armour o# .od, we should pray. *e must pray at all times, in all occasions. )rayin in the spirit is encoura ed. (ll ,inds o# prayers: we should #or multi"dimensions....#or our country6nation, #or our church, #or our 1usiness, #or our wor,, #or our company where we wor,, #or our collea ues, #or our #amily and relatives, #or our #riends, #or ourselves, etc. In additional to ver1al prayer, where1y we clearly ma,e our prayer re7uest to .od, we should also pray in the Spirit, prayin in ton ues. 5his will 1e more wholesome, prayin our normal ver1al prayer
